This was a great location. You can see the ocean without paying oceanfront prices. It could use a few updates, like a new kitchen sink, the TVs are small and outdated, and the chain for the door lock was missing, and someone put a hair tie as a fix. We loved playing tennis and being so close to the beach. I would come back here.

Great location, but extra fees to use beach

The location is perfect and the place was clean. It could use a few upgrades to furniture and bathrooms. However, after booking, we learned that the Sea Colony has a separate resort fee that everyone over 4 years old must pay. The price changes depending on the season, but is 55 a person in peak summer. This gets you a badge that is required to use the pools and beach as well as parking. This is not disclosed on VRBO so sharing for everyone else's awareness.

Amazing View, Off season fee's could be cheaper

The Property itself was amazing. Clean, stocked and exactly as advertised. The fees for the property were a little unfair seeing as how they only had 1 pool open before memorial day weekend and literally no staff on location of the building I was at. Checking in was a hassle not knowing where to go and how to get to the room.

Great location and amenities, issues with communication and cleanliness

The access to the beach and other sea colony amenities was great and worth the additional service fees. The unit was mostly clean with exception of the bathroom floor and we did have issues with the shower not draining upon arrival. We communicated this to the guest services line (via text as the phone line was not answered) and received confirmation a ticket was created. We did not receive any updates through the end of our stay, and no attempt to fix the issue was made. This did significantly impact our ability to shower which unfortunately had a negative impact to the vacation. We did still have a good trip, and our daughter was able to make the most of the time but the lack of response to an important issue (our opinion I guess) made it clear that we were just a number.

Perfect stay for a weekend. Only notes, conveyed to VACASA: blankets on bed need to be laundered - stinky no silverware - cooking ware good Other than those (2) items, loved the place and would book again.

Sea colony

We had a lovely stay at the Sea Colony. The view from the balcony and living room is wonderful. The unit is well equipped with all of the basics you will need. There is a lot to do both in the complex and in the immediate area. Having access to the private beach is great. The complex’s indoor and outdoor pools were very nice too. I will definitely visit the Sea Colony again!

Nice condo

The condo was as advertised. Small, but fine for my family of 3. We didn't spend much time inside. The half bath, off the bedroom, was a nice addition. The biggest thing with this property is that it has a lot of great outside amenities (pool, hot tub, beach, etc) but the amenities inside the condo aren't great. Nothing terrible, but for example, the silverware doesn't match (and isn't great quality), the towels and sheets are low quality, and there are no beach towels or toys provided. In some ways, it's half hotel and half rental. Some pros and cons of both. So, be prepared to bring everything you want to use as very little is provided.

Perfect solo getaway

Loved this cosy apartment for my solo getaway! The view right onto the ocean was everything!!! Easy access to the beach for long walks along the crashing surf. Check-in process was too much (emails, texts, documents to sign, check-in required off-property) just to park and stay two nights. Note the TV has no streaming services, but is the only place you can obtain the WiFi & password!?! Also, could not find the recycling, which was also odd. But, none of that ruined my good time! Pleasantly surprised there was a bathtub — it looked from the photos that the bathroom was shower only. I loved my stay and would visit again in a heartbeat.
