Détendez-Vous! Détendez-Vous! Détendez-Vous! Promenades / promenades à vélo le long des canaux, les enfants jouent dans le quartier, une arriÚre-cour qui est idéal pour des fers à cheval - juste une goutte de fond parfaite pour renouer avec la famille et les amis. Notre endroit préféré est sur le pont avant aprÚs une journée épuisante à la plage Chillin avec nos clients tout en nous rock loin, regardant le coucher du soleil, nous désaltérer et rassasiant une plage entraßné la faim ....

Crowded holiday week but a great location to get to South Bethany beach w parking pass. We had a nice family vacation. Very responsive landlord to a few minor questions. Most ideal for 2 couples with multiple kids beds (up to 6) We made it work for us w 3 couples and a 2 yr old. Bringing an inflatable pool would be advised.

Excellent House and Stay

This was an excellent house for our late summer extended weekend get away. Location was just a short walk to the beach in a nice neighborhood. The house had everything we needed to include beach chairs, umbrelllas, boogey boards, etc. We would definitely return if our plans take us to South Bethany in the future!

Family fun weekend at the beach

The house is very close to the beach, very spacious and clean. The owner responds quickly and is very accommodating. The house is also dog friendly, which is always a bonus. Nice backyard for her to walk around. Will definitely come back!

Wonderful stay and property manager

Wendy, the property manager, was such a pleasure to communicate with and her response time was phenomenal. Her place is a sweet, comfortable house with a pleasant vibe and nice furnishings. Our yellow lab loved the yard and the short walk to the beach was easy. I would definitely recommend!

Wonderful Beach House!

We have been coming to Bethany Beach for years and with a growing family needed to upgrade. This house was perfect! Three floors, two decks, it has everything. We were able to walk to the beach and enjoy our favorite places to see, eat and have fun! Wendy is great to work with. We look forward to returning next year!

great for two families

we had two families of four (with two dogs and four kids under the age of 4---oy) and we found this property to be perfect. Close to the beach, close to the canals, but not so close we had to worry about children falling in. It was a cozy but not so tight that we felt claustrophobic. Wendy was super responsive anytime we had questions pre-trip and during.

Quiet neighborhood, great location

The host was very responsive, reasonable and easy to communicate. The property was as described. When we arrived, the basement carpet was little wet due to carpet cleaning done the day before. Otherwise everything was great.

Great property!

Fantastic location. Quiet street, perfect for walking along canals and easy walk to the beach. Great for multi-generational families or friends with kids. Bright and sunny, with lots of places to separate and have downtime. The kitchen is fully stocked. Nice big table for meals (we used it for puzzles). Pet-friendly, Big back deck looking down onto grassy area/yard for pets or kids to play. The Sunroom is excellent for morning coffee and reading or a nice glass of wine in the evening. The front porch had rocking chairs - relaxing. I would highly recommend it!

Amazing Stay and home!

The house was perfect for 2 families, enough space with separate living in basement with 2 bedrooms and bathroom. Plenty of room for all. Spent allot of time on the front porch relaxing with six large rocking chairs. The house was clean and stocked with all kitchen items. The walk to beach is 10 minutes and walk around neighborhood was beautiful with a park very close to walk dogs. Every morning there were lots of people running, biking and walking dogs and the neighbors were very nice. Great location! Wendy was a pleasure to work with and always responsive. The flowers around the house were in full bloom and beautiful. We can not wait to come back and highly recommend this property.

Great house, great location

My wife and I came for a four day break at the shore. The house is lovely and well-equipped. We spent most of the beautiful fall days sitting on the beach, but enjoyed eating lunch in the screened in area of the deck. There were just the two of us and our dog, but the house has a ton of room and several sitting areas over three floors, so it would be great for a group. It's an easy walk to the beach and the place provides a bunch of beach chairs, buggy boards, and other equipment so there is no need to bring them from home or rent them. The host provides clear instructions on operating the thermostats, entry lock, and tv -- much better than many places we have rented -- and responded promptly to oir questions. We very much enjoyed our brief visit and hope to come back with our family for a longer summer stay.

Pretty area

We had a lovely stay in South Bethany. This house is great for a family or group of friends. Stairs are very steep, so not good for elderly or young children. Pros: 5bdrm 3 bathrooms. beach is only a few blocks away. Nice outside decks Comfortable beds. Host helped guide us for sheets and towel rentals. Hosts were very helpful. Cons: Dishwasher didn't really clean dishes very well. Some dishes in the cupboards weren't clean. Dryer was packed with lint. Front of fridge dirty. Much of the beach equipment is in bad shape. BBQ leaked gas and didn't heat well. A lot of grease in the BBQ runoff pan.

Lovely Beach Home fro Relaxing

We were looking for a South Bethany Beach pet friendly home for an early September getaway and found the perfect spot in this large, welcoming home. Turned out to be a vacation for just my husband and me (after a long home renovation project we were not up for entertaining people) but the house can easily sleep a good group of family or friends. We enjoyed the rocking chairs on the porch, the close easy access to the beach, the quiet neighborhood and location to downtown Bethany. All of our communications were prompt and easy. Our little therapy dog enjoyed our day visits to Rehobeth and Lewes since there are outdoor dining places where he could sit and watch people. We especially enjoyed taking our bikes to the trail from Rehobeth to Lewes and will definitely make that trip on each of our future visits. The weather is always a vacation uncertainty but we were pleased that Hurricane Hermine did not damage the local area and just caused dramatic waves at the beach. When the winds changed at the very end of the week there were annoying flies at the beach from the land breezes so we cut our beach time short, read indoors and rented a Redbox movie. All in all a comfortable, well-equipped vacation home to enjoy.

Perfect Family Home

We have just returned from a wonderful vacation in this beautiful home. The layout of the home was perfect for the grandparents in the master, grandchildren in the ground floor and parents in between. Highlights of the house: OUTSIDE SHOWER!!, lots of cooking supplies (we cooked almost every night), lots of spaces to escape (decks, loft, downstairs sitting room), ample parking, large dining room table to eat and play games. The beach is in easy walking distance. Clean, well maintained, and not crowded. We brought a metal detector and planted a treasure chest for the kids (inserted a hammer for the metal detector, but gave the kids a treasure map as well). The sunrises are magnificent! And evenings on the beach are so relaxing! Things to do: We walked all through the canals and Middlesex. Bike riding on the Route 1 bike shoulder. Boardwalk concerts. Geocaching. Breweries. Dickens Theater. Outlets. Rehoboth boardwalk. If you are out of town, there are two public mini libraries - one by the township building on the border of Middlesex and one behind McDonald’s, but Wendy’s library is the best - lots of great reads! Puzzles in the downstairs cabinet. Magnet fishing in the creek off Kent Rd. Sent Wendy a question during the week and she responded immediately. And our dog was very happy that she was able to share our vacation with us! A fun time was had by all.

We were very happy with many things about this property. It was such an easy walk to the beach. The neighborhood was so very nice to walk around and take in the scenery. The home was spacious and exactly as the photos portrayed. It was a short drive to the boardwalk and some great walking trails. Our host was very friendly and readily available to us. Amazing Getaway

Our stay in Wendy's home was fantastic! She was such an amazing host!!! The house was clean, spacious and in a perfect location! The walk to the beach was not long at all and so we walked on it almost every morning and every night! We highly recommend this rental and would 10/10 stay here again:)

Pet Friendly Decompression Zone

Property was great. Everything we were hoping for. Few minor repairs and replacements needed as we rented at the end of the season. Owner is great and accommodating. We loved our stay and look forward to coming again

A LOVELY AND WELL MAINTAINED HOUSE

The family had a wonderful time and the house had more than enough space for everyone. Loved the neighborhood and walk to the beach. A private and family neighborhood. Wendy was a very nice host. Thank you, Wendy.

Enjoyable long weekend

Great property with nice space for our group. Each family had their own floor. The house had everything we could need. The neighborhood was lovely with an easy walk or drive to the beach. Wendy was extremely helpful and responsive. We would stay again.
