Riverfront fishing and floating getaway

Osage and Kings River Fishing- Floating access right at your back door. Located 1 mile from the city limits, and 10 min drive to Eureka Springs, AR, directly on the Osage River, which flows into the Kings River. Two rivers in NW Arkansas that provide some of the best Smallmouth fishing in the state. This property is a home perfect for a group wanting to spend time on the river. Directly on the water, it provides a beach, where the kids (or adults!) could camp, build a campfire, swim, and explore the 10 acres it provides. Sleeps 6, absolutely perfect for a fishing / floating trip. It is just a two bed room. But is a large older home. It is secluded and not a lot of traffic on the road which makes it very quiet. We just got WiFi!!!

This home was so cozy, clean and comfortable. They have thought of everything their guests may need. It's in such a peaceful setting yet just minutes away from restaurants, shopping, gas, etc. Isaac was a very prompt host in communicating and answering a couple questions I had. My pups loved it too ! Would definitely recommend this great property.

Photos don’t do this place justice. It felt like walking in to your grandmas house & just feeling the peace. They thought of everything in the house. Beautiful grounds with the river flowing behind it. Be sure & look around when you go down to the river we spotted a turkey in the field. Isaac was so easy to communicate with & I enjoyed getting to know his grandma more & the history of her homestead. We will be back when warmer to truly enjoy the river. The house is in the country yet super close to town. Thank you Isaac for sharing “Grandma’s house” with us, it was one of the most relaxing trips we have took.

Pet friendly but there is no fence so must be leashed, host was friendly and accommodating. Absolutely loved that it felt so far from everything but it was close to everything. There was a doe that visited almost every morning and evening in the front yard and we also had a buck pay a visit. The outdoor seating area was fantastic with plenty of seating and a large fire pit that i enjoyed. There were several areas inside that were less than clean. The counter tops were not clean when i got there. There was a layer of dust on almost everything. There were knobs and fixtures that were dirty or sticky from grease in the kitchen. On the plus side, it is stocked with plenty of dishes, pots n pans, and towels and linens (love the towels set aside just for the creek), plenty of cleaning supplies, etc. Overall we enjoyed our time there. I don't recommend if you have a pet that can't be off leash.

Lovely older home. Plenty of room. Quiet neighborhood. Glad it had two bathrooms but wished we had known one of the bathrooms was down a flight of stairs in the basement. Close to town.

We had an amazing time staying a week here with our family of four and our dog. We went on many fun adventures in the area and enjoyed the backyard creek. The place was very clean with lots of charm. The house sits on a large acreage, which was very private and quiet. Would love to come back!

Peaceful Country Getaway!!

Absolutely loved the Charming and very spacious country home! The beautiful acres added a whole new level of peacefulness, with a creek full of rocks (grandkids are rockhounds)that adjoined the Osage river was FANTASTIC!! The fish were small, but the frog catching was plentiful for grandkids.The kids also loved playing grandpa a few games of ping pong on the downstairs table as well as the vintage video games in the sun room.It was an added bonus for our very sm dogs, who loved running and swimming without having to be leashed & could accompany us to the daily river and creek fun, not to be left in a hotel room with 4 walls to stare at until we returned. The property was just 23 miles from Roaring River for some excellent trout fishing & close to other attractions like cave tours and charming small town shopping at some wonderful stores! WM is a 6 min drive & We never wanted for something to do!The doubled kitchen counters with huge amts of cabinet space made cooking for a large group easy. also, there was a k-cup & standard coffee maker, a plethora of spices, sugar, catsup,mustard etc: that prev vacationers passed on to the next.We loved our stay so much,after the kids left, my husband & I wanted to stay another day for some alone time, Isaac, was happy to oblige & made the process of booking an extra night hassle free!Look. This is an older farm house w rustic charm. There may b a dust bunny or 2 under bed, or a dresser drawer may have a loose handle, it was PERFECT!
