This dog and family-friendly home is conveniently located on a beautifully landscaped lot with a dock on the Manklin Creek stream/waterway, which leads to the Bay.

This beautiful abode grants you access to endless incredible amenities, which include five swimming pools (indoors and outdoors), parks, a beach club with beachfront parking, a marina, a yacht club, the Ocean Pines Golf Course, sports courts (basketball, volleyball, and tennis), and more.

Upon entering, you will find an outstanding and spacious open floor plan with vaulted ceilings and bamboo hardwood floors. The kitchen has been updated with slate gray appliances, custom cabinets, and granite counters. You can easily let your creativity flow and surprise your friends with delicious homemade meals and snacks. Coffee enthusiasts will love the coffee bar section with a Keurig coffee maker and several cups. The living room boasts a two-sided gas fireplace with stone walls on each side, an inviting sofa, and a smart TV. The primary suite is the one that enjoys the other side of the gas fireplace and also features tray ceilings, two closets, an attached workspace with a desk, and an en suite bathroom.

The beautiful sunroom offers a wonderful spot to unwind with your loved ones - play board games, enjoy a refreshing beverage, or admire wonderful views using the telescope provided. The custom deck has retractable awnings and overlooks the creek/waterway, which is a nature lovers' paradise. This retreat also is equipped with a former garage turned into a rec room with a Ping-Pong table, electric fireplace, smart TV, and full fridge.

The master bathroom needs to be deep cleaned, as does the furniture. The air ducts and filters are filthy and I had a hard time with sneezing and a sore throat during our stay. The house next door is problematic and we had to call 911 due to screaming/fighting. This is not the house we booked, we were moved at the last minute due to a “pest issue” at the property we booked. This home could be much more comfortable with a deep clean and an upgrade to towels and linens.

Nice property but some things could use a bit of attention. More than enough room for the 8 of us and the grandchildren really enjoyed crabbing off of the dock. One of the bedroom rugs was a major tripping hazard and the cookware was a bit lacking. The major issue we had was the kitchen refrigerator kept self defrosting and leaking water across the floor. The temperature controls would fluctuate rather than stay consistent. Although we called about the issue no one came to repair it. Fortunately there was a second refrigerator in the game room but it was inconvenient to go down there ever time you needed something.

This house other than finding out that the hot tub wasn’t working a week before arrival, was perfect for our family. The game room in garage was great for the kids to go play. The beds were comfortable.

Property lived up to its promotion, and more

Our three generation family enjoyed a peaceful, fun vacation in this property. The grandkids loved that they could crab from the dock, the adults enjoyed the hot tub by starlight and there was enough space in this house that the 10 of us never felt crowded. The house was very clean, the decor was beautiful and the quiet neighborhood was just what we had hoped for. If ever we have a chance to be in this area again, we would book this property enthusiastically.

Family Getaway to Ocean City

I stayed at this property in July 2024 with several members of my family. The details of the property listed are accurate. However, the property is in need of cleaning and landscaping. Generally speaking, you could just feel a layer of grime in the house. I ended up buying cleaning products and wiping down some things myself. I reached out to Vacasa, who said they passed along the info to the more local Vacasa office who would reach out to me, but they never did. While there was a landscaper who showed up during our stay, they only cut the grass. The property was overgrown with weeds everywhere and really could use some TLC. The outside of the house also could have used a power wash. The hot tub needs to be cleaned and have the cover replaced. In fact, I found that many of the houses in the neighborhood could use some TLC. If I were to return to Ocean Pines, I would likely stay in a different section as there were many that seemed better maintained. However, the community amenities like the pools were great! Our favorite was the Yacht Club pool. You can use this pool for a fee of $10 per day (children have a reduced rate). It was convenient to get to both restaurants and golf courses from this house. Some of our favorites were Longboard Cafe and Sunset Grille. Make sure to make reservations - they get crowded. Overall we had an enjoyable trip, but this house could use a bit of TLC to make it better.

Amazing property!!!

One of my favorites thus far from VRBO! House was clean and loved the location, close enough to Ocean City activities without all the traffic or parking challenges. The neighborhood was quiet and well cared for. We enjoyed the hot tub and playing games outside on the deck. Would definitely rent again!!!!

Fun on the canal

Outstanding! This house was spacious and in a quiet neighborhood, but also close to everything you need. The hot tub on the deck overlooking the canal was one of our favorite spots. The cool nights in the hot tub while looking at the stars was awesome. The neighboring cities (Berlin, Ocean City, Rehoboth) that we visited were unique and fun. Assateague National park was fantastic. Watching the wild horses was lots of fun. We had a great week!
