Escape to this spacious 3-level A-Frame cabin, perfectly perched on a peaceful mountainside just minutes from downtown Berkeley Springs, dining, and outdoor activities.
The main level features an open floor plan with a bright living room framed by floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the mountainside, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, a bedroom, and a full bathroom. While there’s a TV in the living area, the real star is the serenity of nature right outside your window.
Upstairs, you’ll find two inviting bedrooms—one with a king bed and the other with a queen bed—each with its own private bathroom.
The lower level offers a queen bed and a full-size bed with an attached bathroom, plus a cozy sitting area, an additional living room with a bar, TV, and a futon sleeper—perfect for game nights or extra space for guests.
Whether you’re admiring the mountain views, enjoying peaceful mornings with coffee by the windows, or gathering in the spacious living areas, this A-Frame cabin is ideal for families, couples, and groups seeking a tranquil mountain getaway.

Good house, somewhat neglected

This home has much to offer. Great location. Great town. Beautiful surroundings with space from neighbors. Good size. A few complaints. 1) The master bed was crooked, missing a wheel, they came to fix it the next day and only partially fixed it. Also only had 1 nightstand. 2) There are several chairs outside that no one would ever want to sit in. Needs more seating for 13 people. Kitchen table can only fit 4-5. Outside there are 2 tables but only a few decent chairs. 3) WiFi is terrible and service is spotty. Not always a bad thing but I had plans to work on some projects while I was there.

Family Get Together

Lovely getaway!

Our 2 families met up here and had a wonderful stay. The cabin has all of the amenities, including a very comfy sofa. We really enjoyed our time at Rancho Relaxo!

Family getaway

The house was exactly as the picture. The inside of the house was clean but the outside was totally different. The back deck was dirty and the furniture was filthy. We had to sweep and clean everything down. The house was spacious. The beds were comfortable. It was great having the washer and dryer. They supplied bath towels and toiletries. Overall it was nice. Also the host didn't reply to my emails regarding an issue.

Perfect stay for a weekend relaxation getaway

This was a wonderful place for me and my group of friends for a relaxing weekend away from DC. We had the best time and the house was so cozy and had everything we needed. It was about a 15 minute drive into the main part of Berkley Springs, which was perfect for exactly what we wanted. Great location, and they let us check in and out early and late. Hope to return again soon! There was initial confusion about who I needed to communicate, but it was sorted out right before.

Good for a group

We had a ladies' weekend with five of us and the house was wonderful for our group because there are four bedrooms/four baths. It was cozy for a winter weekend: lots of games, smart TV, books, all necessary cooking utensils, large and comfortable sofa. The only hitch related to our request for extra firewood for the wood stove. There was ample firewood outside, but none inside and no fatwood/firestarter. It had rained heavily and all of the wood was outside and too wet to use. I called to request more, dry wood but never got a response. Gave 3 stars for cleanliness because the shower curtains were dirty/moldy and the sides of the stove and refrigerator had caked-on food splatters. Everything else was fine. Great access to walking trails and minutes from downtown Berkeley Springs with hot springs/spa, cute shops and restaurants. Overall, we would stay there again.

Great for holiday weekend with family

The property has a great amount of space while also being a cozy place for a family of 9, with 4 separate families, to stay. Each of the 4 bedrooms has its own bathroom which was just fabulous for us. The property is very clean but to keep it clean I wish we had been able to find a broom. The kitchen is well stocked - we were able to cook fabulous holiday meals with most of the kitchen equipment that was already there (plus a potato masher we added to the collection). The location is only ten minutes from downtown Berkeley Springs, so that awarded us a lot of flexibility. Overall wonderful and I’d stay again.

Spacious retreat for friends and family

Celebrating a retirement 4 families joined in to share a weekend getaway tucked into the Cool Font community. Early November was surprisingly warm , perfect for grilling and eating outside. The kitchen was very well equipped and the bedrooms large and comfortable. Liked having a bathroom on each floor and proximity to Berkeley Springs. Spacious common areas and nice range of games

Beautiful Week

First Time using Vrbo and what a smooth experience it was! Tried something different than going to the beach in August and found this beautiful house in this lovely town. In my opinion after visiting here, Berkeley Springs is the best town in West Virginia. This property is located about 5-10 minutes from the town. There were 7 of us and there was so much space where you could be by yourself for some alone time or was spacious enough for all 7 of us to enjoy family time whether it be on the porch, the main floor living room, or the basement entertainment area. We did not have one single issue here. The property was in a private community that had so many activities you could stay there all week. They have a beautiful community pool, waterfall, and hot tub which we went to every day. Also, had basketball and tennis courts, a playground, and an open field by the playground for outdoor activities which we used and enjoyed as well. There is a brewery and winery right down the road from the house we got to enjoy, and if that wasn't enough there were plenty other things to do and shop at in town especially little antique stores, restaurants, and the state park! As you can see, we had a fabulous time and looked forward to coming back again!!!! PS: If your there on Sunday, you must go to town for the Farmer's Market!!!!! Fresh produces, meats, cheeses, and crafts made some of the meals we cooked at the house even better!

Great getaway in the woods

We really enjoyed the cabin and the location in the woods - it was perfect for our spring break! The added fees are a bit excessive, so I'm not sure I would book again.
