Stølesmauet is located in the very heart of Bergen city centre, in a historic and vibrant neighbourhood just behind Bryggen. It's a charming, cobblestone area defined by narrow alleyways, old wooden houses, and a distinctively local Bergen atmosphere. The neighbourhood is peaceful, yet close to the city's energy – with short walking distance to the Fish Market, Bryggen, Fløibanen, and a wide selection of cafés, bars, restaurants, and small independent shops. Public transport is easily accessible, with buses, the light rail, and the train station all within walking distance.

Getting around from Stølesmauet is easy – whether you prefer walking, taking the bus, or arriving by Uber or taxi from the airport or train station.

– Several bus lines run along Sandviksveien with frequent departures to and from the city center
– The bus ride to downtown takes about 5 minutes, or you can walk there in 10–12 minutes

From the Airport (Bergen Airport Flesland)
– Take the light rail (Bybanen) from the airport to the final stop, Byparken (approx. 45 minutes)

From the Train Station (Bergen Station)
– 15–20 minutes on foot
– 5–10 minutes by Uber or taxi
– Alternatively, take a quick bus ride toward Sandviken

4) Please put the furniture and inventory back in its original place if you have moved it 🛋

6) Unregistered guests are not allowed in the apartment without prior agreement 👋

Please let us know as early as possible if you wish to check in early or check out late, so that we can accommodate your request. Early check-in / late check-out depends on whether we have sufficient time to prepare the accommodation for you and the next guests. We charge a fee of 200 nok early check-in / late check-out .
