Here, youâre surrounded by colorful wooden houses, cobblestone alleys, and classic Bergen architecture in a peaceful and picturesque setting. The area offers lush parks, cozy cafĂ©s, and seaside walks just around the corner.
At the same time, youâre only a short walk from the very heart of the city. Bryggen, FlĂžibanen, the Fish Market, restaurants, shops, and nightlife are all just minutes away.
Nordnes gives you the best of both worlds â calm and postcard-beautiful, yet central and vibrant. Itâs the perfect base to experience Bergenâs unique mix of history, nature, and city life.
Getting around is easily done on foot, as all city attractions are within walking distance. If you're planning to venture outside the city, we recommend taking the bus or city light rail from the city center stops. If you prefer to travel by car, the best parking option is "Klostergarasjen" or through street parking in the surrounding streets. The daily rate is 280 NOK, and the hourly rate is 22 NOK. Payment can be made through the "Parking in Bergen" app. You can also drive up to the house for easy luggage drop-off. Want to get around quickly and enjoy an amazing sightseeing experience of the city? Rent one of the electric scooters, which you will find all across the city.
