This sweet cottage is a completely refreshed 1910, craftsman bungalow. Welcome to the Sugar Plum Cottage. This fully furnished home has been head to toe remodeled in 2023 and has 1 bedroom (Queen), 1 bathroom and a Queen pull out sleeper sofa. Snuggle in and enjoy the very best Bend has to offer. Just 1 block from the delicious food cart lot and all of the cafes, restaurants and breweries on Galveston. You can walk to downtown Bend, the river wave at McKay Park, or the Amphitheater for a concert. Bring your floaty and head for the river on foot. This home is truly in the heart of Bend!

DOWNTOWN LOCATION
This delightful cottage is tucked into the heart of Bend's ever popular westside. Linger on the covered porch or on the patio and soak in the Central Oregon sun and watch Bend pass by. This home is located right between the 3 most popular neighborhoods in Bend: Newport, Galveston and Downtown Bend surround you. You may park your car and just walk your entire stay.

Within a one-minute walk, you can reach the Galveston street shops, restaurants, breweries and food cart lot. Many Bend favorites are just a block or so from your front door including 10 Barrel Brewing, Ariana's, The Victorian Cafe and Sip Wine Bar. Downtown destinations are about a 15 minute walk. You can literally park your car in the driveway for your entire vacation.

PARKING
Parking for 1 vehicle behind the home on the gravel parking pad next to the garage/ADU. No garage access. If you are bringing an oversize vehicle, there is easy and plentiful street parking if front of and next to the home. Please note that the Uhaul trailer is still present at the home and will likely be removed in October 2024

OUTDOOR SPACES
Hot drink, good read and a patio sofa to lounge on...relaxation doesn't get much better than this. There are actually 3 patios to choose from. Enjoy the covered porch on the front of this classic craftsman home and another sweet patio off the master bedroom. The 3rd patio is an outdoor dining is a conversation set with coffee type table, great for a casual meal. A propane BBQ is also provided. Pick your favorite spot and linger a while. The front yard is fenced and hedged for a sense of privacy but offering peek views of the street passing by. There is a garage/ADU in the backyard so, other than parking, there is no backyard at Sugar Plum. The homeowner currently does have a UHaul metal storage container on the property and it is visible from the patio and kitchen window.

HEATING & COOLING
There is a central mini split heat pump in the living area that heats and cools this 748 sqft home well. In addition, there are 4 wall cadet heaters in the bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and laundry room if you need a bit more heat in a specific spot. We also provide an extra fan if you enjoy sleeping in a cool breeze. This vintage home is anything but old. All the modern comforts and amenities you expect are waiting for you in this light and bright space.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
The Sugar Plum Cottage sleeps 4 guests. You'll have 1 queen bed and 1 queen sleeper sofa. We think sleeper sofas are great for kiddos or hearty adults. This is a quality sleeper sofa, but sleepers are never as comfortable as a real bed unfortunately. Sheets, pillow cases and blankets are provided for both beds. A Pack & Play Crib is also provided for your little one if needed. Please request one and we'll have it in the home for you. Please remember to bring your own baby sheets.

KITCHEN AND DINING
Enjoy a spacious fully equipped kitchen with electric glass top cooking. Blender, standard coffee maker, microwave, toaster are all provided. Dining for 4 at the expandable dining table. There is casual dining for 4 outside at the conversation set and coffee table. Bring your grilling favorites for the propane BBQ! Please request a high chair if you need one and we'll have one at the home for you.

TV AND FREE WIFI
Free 100+ Mbps wifi and cable TV provided. Use the provided ethernet cable for the fastest speeds. The living room TV has TDS TV+ for streaming all your favorite apps and channels.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
The neighborhood is quaint, quiet and absolutely adorable. Please remember to respect all our neighbors during your stay and observe all Bend's Good Neighbor Guidelines. Please observe all parking instructions and quiet hours between 10pm and 8am. It's easy...Be nice! You're in Bend! This home is licensed by the City of Bend.
