Welcome to Deschutes River Lodge, a breathtaking riverfront retreat nestled on 1.61 private acres along the peaceful Big Deschutes in Bend, Oregon. Approach the property via a spacious circular driveway—offering convenient parking for guests—and pass through a charming decorative gate that hints at the warm lodge-style elegance within. In addition to the ample driveway parking, guests have access to two spaces in the garage for secure, covered parking. (Please note: the third garage bay and the pontoon boat are reserved exclusively for homeowners and are not available for guest use.)
The grand, timber-framed covered entry—with its handsome stonework—makes an unforgettable first impression. The generous front porch offers a tranquil spot to pause and take in the surroundings, featuring a welcoming bench and a rustic wine barrel accent, all perfectly set by elegant French glass doors.

Inside, you’re greeted by an expansive vaulted great room, where a dramatic wall of windows frames sweeping river views and fills the space with natural light. At the heart of the living area is a stunning wood-burning fireplace, surrounded by exquisite handcrafted stonework, providing a cozy gathering place that serves as both a dramatic focal point and the ideal spot for fireside conversation. Just beyond, the dining room brings a touch of rustic charm with a classic decorative woodstove*—inviting guests to linger over meals in warmth and style. The chef’s kitchen is a showpiece, featuring a massive granite island, Thermador Professional appliances, Sub-Zero refrigerator, double ovens, and rich knotty alder cabinetry—ideal for memorable gatherings. Two walk-in pantries add practical luxury for seamless entertaining.

The lodge is thoughtfully designed for both relaxation and togetherness, and features a total of seven bedrooms to comfortably accommodate families or groups. On the main floor, you’ll find a spacious primary suite with a king bed, heated floors, a beautiful stone art walk-in shower, a luxurious soaking tub, and a built-in gas fireplace for an ultimate private retreat. Also on this level is a cozy bedroom with a queen Murphy bed. Upstairs, four more bedrooms each offer queen-sized comfort, while a second suite and a third ensuite bedroom ensure plenty of privacy. The seventh bedroom, accessed through the sixth bedroom, features two twin beds—making it an ideal hideaway for kids or close friends. Conveniently, with a larger home the property offers 2 separate laundry rooms! For entertainment, the spacious pool table room adjoins the second living area and features a full wet bar—including a sink, dishwasher, and wine fridge—essentially serving as a second kitchen. This welcoming space is perfect for friendly games of billiards, relaxing with friends and family at the impressive granite bar, or enjoying the collection of board games and activities available for guests of all ages.

Step outside and experience a true backyard oasis designed for both relaxation and play. We offer convenient self-check-in. Blue Pacific by Portoro will provide check-in details provided 2 weeks prior to arrival by email and text message.

• Early check-ins or late check-outs: If the property happens to be ready earlier than the standard 5pm check-in time on the day of your arrival, in most cases an early arrival option may be available when confirmed with the main office. Late check-outs must be confirmed with main office staff prior to the date of departure, with the standard check-out time set for 11:00am.

Blue Pacific Vacation Rentals by Portoro communicates via email and phone. After a booking is confirmed, rental agreement will be emailed to the guest for e-signature. Check-in instructions are sent by email and text message 14 days (or less) prior to arrival date (keyless entry). We offer convenient keyless entry for self-check with no need to stop in at a local office. We do typically check in with guests by text 1-2 times during their stays to ensure a 5-star experience and remain available for any questions/inquiries. We are available to guests 24/7, including our afterhours emergency service.
