Riverfront cottage just steps from Deschutes River

This elegant riverfront cottage is just steps away from the Deschutes River and only 10 minutes from downtown Bend. You couldn’t get any closer without getting wet! In the living area there are three large windows giving you an unobstructed view of the river. You'll have a king bed, a pullout couch, a full kitchen, one bathroom and a washer/dryer. Bring along 2 pets for an additional fee. Enjoy access to the indoor pool and hot tub from 9:00 AM-10:00 PM daily!



The Space:

Welcome to "Cabin Leisure," otherwise known as Unit 264. It's on the north tip of the property and is the largest cottage here that lines the river.



The cottage itself has an open floor plan. There's one bedroom with a new comfy king bed and a single bathroom with a combo tub/shower. The rest of the space is wide open with the kitchen, living room and dining area all connecting. There are three sets of windows in this open space that gives you a nearly 270-degree view of the Deschutes River at all times. The view from here is breathtaking. You are so close to the river you might look out the window and forget you're in a cottage and think you're on a river yacht.



The river trail runs right by this unit. The windows are tinted, which gives you a fair degree of privacy even though you're next to a popular path. Take the river trail north and cross the nearby footbridge for a pleasant hike. Take the trail south and you'll find yourself in the heart of downtown in 10 minutes. In the summer many people wade into the river in several well-know spots between your cottage and the footbridge. You'll see from your window the most popular spot, which you'll see people relaxing at on most warm days in June, July and August. 



Aside from the amazing location, the cottage itself is fantastic. It got a total makeover during the summer of 2021 by a professional interior designer. The living room has a 75-inch smart TV where you can sign into your own Netflix, Amazon, Disney+ and any other streaming sites. We have air conditioning for the hot summer days and a gas fireplace to keep your cottage cozy in the winter.



Unit 264 "Cabin Leisure" can sleep four. Two can enjoy the brand new king bed in the bedroom, while two more can use the sofa-bed in the living room. Pullout sofas are not known for their comfort, so we recommend this unit for two adults and two children. We would not advocate four adults, unless the two using the sofa-bed go into the situation knowing they're not getting a standard bed.



The kitchen has brand new appliances: microwave, oven and refrigerator with ice maker. This is one of the few units at Bend Riverside that has a washer and dryer in the unit. The property otherwise has a public laundry room for guests, which will remain available to you. It also includes access to our on-site pool and hot tub, and is pet friendly! It's the perfect vacation spot for the family!



Guest Access:

The cottage comes with a unique code which will get you entry into your unit. There is a laundry room on the property, which is open from 9am-10pm daily, same goes as the pool.

Getting Around:

You are on the edge of downtown Bend, so once you get here you don't necessarily need to use your car. Everything you need is in walking distance.



Other Things to Note:

This is a cottage in a shared complex, and it's worth noting that from time to time, you might hear everyday sounds coming from neighboring units and common areas within the facility.



This cottage is pet-friendly. There will be an additional pet fee of $69, limit of 2 for this unit.



The cottage comes with a limited supply of complimentary coffee, sugar, and creamer.



Interaction with Guests:

Bend Riverside Rentals manages more than 40 privately owned riverfront condos. We have a rental office on the property that is open no less than 8 hours a day. We give you your space, but we’re available on-site if you need anything.
