Baker, 15 minutes to Galbraith Mountain and downtown, and close to Whatcom Falls Park and the scenic Chuckanut Drive, you’ll have easy access to some of the best outdoor adventures in the Pacific Northwest.

Note: The property owners live on-site, and friendly, free-roaming dogs may be present during your stay.

*oct 15- Jan 29 is waterfowl hunting season so you may hear gunshots in the distance but nothing to be alarmed by. We also ask that people do not grab, hug or cuddle our dogs and keep
Children from doing the same. After your daily adventures, you’ll be happy to return to this charming home with comfortable furnishings throughout. Curl up on the large L-shaped couch in the western-themed living area and watch old western cowboy movies with your loved ones. In the spacious, fully equipped kitchen, cook up a hearty meal for the whole group to enjoy at the dining table set for 4 in the kitchen. On sunny days, enjoy your feast out in the backyard, where you can gather around the picnic table and breathe in the fresh air. Sleep is sure to come easy in one of the bedroom’s queen or king beds. One or two other guests can rest their heads on the couch or blow up mattress

Guests are able to use the house, yard, playground, and driveway

Owners also live on the property and are around for any questions, ideas of things to do, places to go, etc. Owners are very friendly, have lived in this area for generations and are very accommodating. They have one very friendly dogs that will greet guests and be around the property.

Outdoor activities abound in coastal Washington, and this home places you minutes from it all! Strap on your hiking boots and head 10 miles to Whatcom Falls Park to walk scenic trails to waterfalls. Fishers, bring your gear, as you’ll find several lakes, like Tennant Lake, minutes from the house! During the winter, shred fresh powder at Mt. Baker Ski Area, an hour and 20 minutes from the home. Watch the leaves change colors in the fall as you drive the famous Chuckanut Drive, a scenic, winding, coastal road with restaurants, galleries and hidden beaches along the way. After your outdoor adventures, enjoy a night in downtown, 6 miles from the home. Check out the hands-on science exhibits at SPARK Museum of Electrical Invention and marvel at the art and regional history displays at the Whatcom Museum before grabbing a bite to eat in the city. Just minutes away from the silver reef casino and steakhouse.

There are Uber and Lyft available to and from the home. The Bellingham international airport is a short ride away

Enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature in this very quiet area. One note is that it’s so quiet without the hustle and bustle of the city and traffic you may hear trains and airplanes in the distance. There will also be a fee for late check out added of $100 per hour if guests are not checked out on time.
- no shoes on carpet, no pets in the house, smoking is allowed outside of the house only check out is by 10am. A $100 per hour fee will be assed for guest staying past the 10am check out time.
