Meubles en bois rond, foyer au bois vĂ©ritable, grand salon, cuisine entiĂšrement meublĂ©e avec un poĂȘle Viking et une armoire pleine d'Ă©pices, sous-sol complet, buanderie, grenier donnant sur le salon principal. Zone de foyer extĂ©rieur et bain Ă  remous.
La maison est Ă  seulement 5 miles des stations de ski et de golf de Shanty Creek & Schuss Mountain. À seulement 40 minutes de la rĂ©gion viticole de Traverse City. PrĂšs de toute la chaĂźne de lacs du comtĂ© d'Antrim. VĂ©rifiez-le!!!
Nous avons Ă©galement de nouveaux bateaux Pontoon Ă  louer sur le lac Torch et le lac Clam et le lac Bellaire. nous pouvons Ă©galement donner des excursions en bateau jusqu'Ă  dix personnes par voyage.
La chambre aménagée pour les 10 lits est la suivante:
   1 master au rez-de-chaussée avec un lit Queen,

Great place!

Awesome location and setting at this well-decorated and well-stocked home. Felt very homelike and we didn't want to leave! Lots of space for parking; lots of land for exploring. So close to downtown Bellaire. Interior is perfect. It didn't really matter to us (a family of four), but the listing says 6 bedrooms; however, there are really only 3 bedrooms (two on main level and one in basement). There are two sleeping/bed areas in the loft part of the house, but they are not private (open-air), so it would be hard to go to sleep if people are using the kitchen or other common areas. I'm not sure what was considered the 6th bedroom. Just something to be aware of if you planned on having more people with you. Thanks!

Happy Independence Day!! đŸ‡ș🇾 This is a gem of a property! It is rural but in easy driving distance to Torch Lake, Charlevoix, and many hiking/beach access areas, King Orchards, and more. Our host was easily reached and quickly responded to questions before and during our stay. 💯 recommend!

Beautiful property but inaccuracy from listing

We had a great time and property was beautiful. When booking I had accidently put 1 person staying for a house that slept 12 people. Day before check in liability waiver was send&signed. Our guest arrived to property and the owner asked for the amount of people staying for housekeeping purposes. After telling him 12 there was a text stating there was an additional $50.00 per person per night but the rate that was already paid in full was for 8 people. After much discussion about us not being aware of this and talking with VRBO it was not stated ANYWHERE on the VRBO listing. Owner said that if I would have put anything but 1 person some message would have prompted a part stating anything after 8 was an additional charge. The house slept 12 but only really listed for 8 ppl. Several conversations were back and forth owner said that the extra fee was for housekeeping bc they charge $50.00/bed to clean but if we wanted to clean the sheets and make bed then it wouldn't be as much. We declined as we had a 10:00am check out and would not have had time to do that. Owner reduced the per person per night over charge to $25.00 instead of $50. Looking back at the liability wavier signed the day before it mentioned max occupancy was 12 and additional $25.00 would be added per person per night. And parties over 8 would be assessed. So he was overcharging from even waiver. We had 12 ppl staying and was not aware that we had to let owner know prior that we had 12 not 8.

Bugs in bed and an owner in denial

I really didn't want to do this, to send this or any negative reviews about my experience, but I feel compelled to inform people about what we discovered. The first time I stayed here, last year, it was great except we were contending with a leaky fridge and a fly problem. Upon leaving I notified Dale the owner about it and he acted surprised and said he'd take care of it. We returned this past October to a fridge that still leaked into a plastic bin in the basement ceiling and a fly epidemic. There were no less than a dozen dead flies in every room of the house that we cleaned ourselves. Upon reaching out to the owner, Dale quickly defended the house saying it was fly season and he was just there and didn't see any flies, which is absurd. I really wish I could post pictures here to show you what we documented. AND IF THAT WASN'T ENOUGH, our family friends woke up with bites on their backs and arms and photographed a bunch of bugs in their bed. The owner contested this as well and asked me to bag a "Sample" for him. After we left he texted me and claimed to have not found anything. I quickly sent him one photo of one of the bugs in the bed and provided the location and date info of when the picture was taken: On his property the day we discovered them. (Again this would be real helpful if I could post the pics) He offered to give us a 1/2 refund if we didn't review him, I asked VRBO for a full refund but they unfortunately side with Dale. Makes me think twice now using VRBO

Secluded Escape

This was our family's 2nd stay at Overlook, a perfect escape from the city and busy work-life. Kitchen is stocked with just about everything you might need to prepare meals.The fireplace was a cozy touch for chilly fall days/nights and the supplied wood was super convenient. The hot tub was a fan favorite too! We stayed on the property for our entire stay with the exception of a day trip to Boyne to walk the Skybridge-a great experience with spectacular fall views! We all look forward to another stay at this property.

Beautiful House & Property!

Dale's house was both beautiful and well maintained. The beds were comfortable. Plus communication was prompt and clear. Highly recommend the property if you want something unique and off the beaten path!

Excellent place to stay

This is a beautiful home and a perfect location for us. We are a group of golfers and there are many fantastic courses within 30 minutes of this location. Plus, Dale was an excellent property owner with whom to work.

Bachelorette party

I rented this breath taking cabin for my soon to be daughter - in - laws bachelorette party. This place was absolutely amazing! It was extremely clean and very well maintained. Even the taxidermy mounts were dusted and clean. The beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of extra blankets and pillows. We all enjoyed the hot tub, and the fire pit. What a great place for a girls weekend, would definitely return. Every time you looked around you would see something different and unique.The only down side to this place was its slow coffee maker.Other then that everything was perfect!!!!

Adult Weekend

We chose this property because it was close to Torch Lake. We had a group of 10 adults and we really enjoyed the house and the property. We were able to prepare meals together and visit with plenty of room. The home has plenty of outdoor seating in the front and back deck. Check in and check out we’re very simple.
