Cedar’s Rest Cabin

Serene, two bedroom cabin away from it all, yet close to everything.
Cedar’s Rest is tucked away in a mountain setting surrounded by beautiful mature Cedar Trees. There is a hammock hanging in the Cedar’s where you can totally relax and leave all your worries behind. The cabin is very cozy and you will sleep great in the plush king size beds. You can sit outside and gaze up at all the stars around the fire pit of the 26 acre open field. The cabin is located 7.5 miles to Walmart, CVS, Food Lion, and Restaurants. Driving time is about 10-12 mins. Its just a short drive into the town of Bedford.

Cedar’s Rest has become my birthday tradition! After my hubby found this lovely gem and surprised me for my birthday four years ago it has been a known surprise since then every year my birthday comes around!It’s perfect for a little retreat and is surrounded by God’s marvelous creation!Every sunrise is spectacular and every sunset picturesque!Our Goldens Lucy and Louie absolutely love the rolling hills and exploring the woods
This year we literally had a four seasons experience, my birthday was as warm as a summer day without the bugs or humidity! The next morn we woke up to magical winter snow! The day after was windy and Springy! The last day seemed like cozy autumn!So whatever the weather Cedar’s Rest makes it rather special!This year for the first time we met Bryan and introduced ourselves and let him know how much we adore his cozy cabin and he graciously took us down to the hidden creek where our Goldens swam and chased one another and we hiked up the hills and walked back through tall grass and buzzing bees around flowering Dogwoods!The little town has so many local delights and Bedford Station and Bella’s are a must stop whether you’re hungry or not!Now the countdown to my birthday has begun just to be back at Cedar’s Rest!

This home was just a perfect place for a couple to relax and unwind. Christy and Brian have done a wonderful job setting up and supplying the home with everything you need. No detail left undone. The setting is beautiful and there were many things to do to keep us busy within a 30 minute drive. We can't wait to return!

Thank you for such a beautiful and peaceful stay. The cabin, décor, and thoughtful accommodations made this weekend truly special. We spent our time reading in quiet solitude, enjoying the wonderful local restaurants, and walking the fields and woods around the property. This is the cutest cabin ever! Beautifully decorated and just super cute! We stayed for the weekend due to family wedding at Cedar Oaks and it was awesome! Had all the amenities we needed wished we could have stayed longer! But definitely will be back!

I chose this rental b/c it looked like it would work well with my dogs and was in between the two old friends I was visiting. I would choose my dates next time based on the availability of this rental. The cabin itself was perfect and clean and had everything one could need. The setting was beautiful and quiet, just us and the stars when the pups went out during the night.

This property is absolutely beautiful and the listing is spot on. So cozy and serene. We loved our stay the entire time. Our two dogs had a field day on the land and wide open spaces. The outdoor patio is a great spot for a morning coffee and the view was beautiful.

Cedar's Rest

The cabin and surroundings are so clean and peaceful. We would highly recommend this rental to those who may be visiting the Bedford, VA area. The owner was very accommodating and easy to contact. Very good experience. Would rate 10 stars if possible.

Great time in the Blue ridge mountains

This was a perfect stay for two old friends and a pup. We were able to relax on the porch or in the hammock, do some demanding walks from Peaks of Otter / Appalachian trail and enjoy a nice grilled dinner on the way back. Peaceful and very lovely views. Great communication from hosts.

A beautifully restored home

This is a beautiful and comfortable home. It is surrounded by rolling farm fields and mountain tops. The home is beautifully decorated. Bryan stopped by to make sure we had everything we needed, told us some of the history, and places to visit in the area. This was a great spot to stop on our way back north, and we will certainly stop again.
