March Hare is a marvellous shepherd’s hut that sleeps up to four people. With a raised double bed and two singles that convert to a comfortable seating and dining area, this unique hut is designed to make the most of the space available. There is a small kitchenette with a 2-ring gas hob and mini fridge, perfect for creating a lovely little feast when you’re not making the most of the barbecue. During the colder days you can take advantage of the gas heater to keep you warm whilst snuggling up with your loved ones. Outside you’ll find a decking area with BBQ, firepit and private ensuite "wash shed" with flushing toilets new for 2025.. Electricity is provided by wind and solar energy stored in a battery. Whilst 3 pin plugs are available, usage should be limited to quick use appliances, e.g. hairdryer. Not suitable for multiple electronic devices to be charged / ran, e.g. laptops and tablets.

Outdoor private toilet and shower. Compost toilet.

Twin gas hob and Fire pit

Charcoal and firewood are not included and there is an additional charge. They can be purchased on site.

If booking the entire site - a £500 security deposit will be payable on arrival.



Please be aware there is no reception on site, all customers will need to arrange a time for check in prior to arrival by contacting the site directly. Check in is available between 3pm and 6pm. On the day of arrival please call when you are 20 minutes away so you can be greeted at the carpark and checked in.

Gas heater can be hired for £10 per night if needed (request on arrival if required)
