The family bathroom includes a large bathtub and a separate shower enclosure, perfect for a relaxing soak after a day of exploring. Step outside to an elevated garden space with seating, perfect for al fresco dining.
Ashwater boasts a welcoming community shop and a traditional country pub set on the village green. Adding to its rustic charm is a lovely church. The property is close to the water sports centre at Roadford Lake, where sailing and windsurfing can be enjoyed. There are several opportunities for coarse fishing.
It is just 17 miles from the breathtaking North Cornish coast with many beaches, excellent surfing, pretty coves and dramatic coastal walks. There are several golden beaches along the coast, especially in the bustling town of Bude. Widemouth Bay is less than 20 miles away, where youâll find surfing, coastal walks, and charming seaside cafĂ©s.
The market towns of Okehampton and Launceston, with their historic castles, are a short drive away. For those craving adventure, Dartmoor National Park offers vast moorlands, dramatic rock formations, and ancient relics to explore. In the other direction, Bodmin Moor and Jamaica Inn are not far away.
For those wanting larger towns, Bideford, Barnstable, Portsmouth, and Exeter are all within an hourâs drive.
