Dartmoor National Park is just 14 miles to the east; here you can enjoy a day of walking, only for the fittest, while discovering the vast moorland and roam the craggy landscape, defined by forests, rivers, wetlands and rock formations or tors.

The wide golden sands of Bude and Widemouth Bay are just 20 miles away, with excellent surfing, pretty coves and dramatic coastal walks, shopping, leisure facilities, restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. Holsworthy is 8 miles away and offers a good selection of local shops and supermarkets along with a weekly market.
