Okanagan - Crystal View

Crystal View is a beautiful stand-alone family vacation rental in Snow Pine Estate at Big White Mountain. It is a ski in and ski out property, with a large deck that has a private hot tub and gas BBQ. Walking up to the large wooden doors, you will notice the wood piles provided for the wood burning fireplace. Entering through the front door, you are greeted with a high, vaulted, open-beam ceiling, with plenty of windows to showcase the open-plan kitchen, dining and living room, as well as a staircase going downstairs. There is a large fridge/freezer, range oven & stove, and plenty of storage space. Guests have access to the audio system, the home's collection of books, a spacious boot room with lots of space to hang ski gear, and a laundry closet with a washer and dryer. You can ski straight in and out of the property, leading to Snow Ghost, Ridge Rocket and Plaza Chairs. Crystal View is a 10-15 minute walk into the village center. There are also outdoor parking spaces for several vehicles located at the front of the property. BIG WHITE is a registered trademark owned by Big White Ski Resort Ltd. or the BIG WHITE brand.

Wonderful Stay! Great location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Crystal View. It was the perfect size for three sets of parents and three boys going to school in Kelowna. We really enjoyed the ski in and ski out.

Summer home in the mountains

Beautiful and spacious home in the mountains. The home had space for everyone in our family during our stay. Everyone was glad to see the home after a very long drive from Edmonton. Fireplace, hot tub, 3 full baths and 4 beds kept us comfortable during our stay. One thing to keep in mind when staying here is that the road going up the mountain is dark at night. We didn't mind it because the days are longer in the summer. We thank the hosts for letting us stay in their lovely home.

Great location. Spacious kitchen area ,plentiful supply of plates, glasses, bowls etc. Large dining room table worked well for our group of 10. Very nice wood burning fireplace for relaxing in the evening or morning. Super access with skiing right to the back door. when you finished your day. Would come back again.

Annual Family and Friends Ski Trip

Great spot for large groups - large living room. Big dining table. Spacious kitchen that was well stocked. 3 1/2 bathrooms. Large change area downstairs with convenient ski storage. Clean hot tub. Bbq clean and worked well. Loved the wood fireplace! - good supply of chopped dry wood. Easy ski in and out.

Great location, Awesome views.

Overall wonderful vacation. Great location, plenty of room, well appointed, hot tub well maintained, ski-in/ski-out best in Snow Pines. Only issue is the house needs a good deep cleaning. Surfaces are fine, but lots of cobwebs in corners, dust under furniture, on the decorations, and in the blinds. Ceiling fans were so dusty we did not want to use them.

Crystal View Chalet an absolute joy

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The seven of us, 5 adults and 2 children, had a wonderful time at Crystal View. There was plenty of room for us all, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, the fireplace and the hot tub a real highlight. We did experience some issues with the hot tub but Rent Chalets staff were always very responsive to attend to it. The oven took a little getting used to and we found washing dishes ourselves did a better job than the dishwasher - but all in all, we had a fantastic stay. A magical place and location we will remember forever. We hope to be back! Thank you to Rent Chalets and the owner for the beautiful Christmas tree they put up for us! We will never forget our 2018 Christmas at Crystal View. So fun and comfortable!

Crystal View Review SpringBreak 2022

Loved the big open space and high ceiling. Large kitchen table was a treat too. Ski in Ski out was perfect and the hot tub was a nice reward at the end of the day. Hopefully next spring break they can take down the christmas tree and decorations :)

Beautiful ski in and ski out

Really lovely cabin with very easy access to the ski hill. It’s about 10 steps up a tiny hill and then you are on the hill. Lots of bedrooms and great common area space.

Together At Last

We planned a special time to bring our family together after years of being apart due to the pandemic and flooding. We had a great time - wonderful meals to prepare in the evenings, after snowboarding, skating, sledding and skiing. The space was perfect. Everything met our hopes and expectations.

We were so lucky to be able to book time at Crystal View. The home was well equipped for anything we might possibly need. The ambiance was exactly what we were wanting for time on a ski hill. We would love to come back and share it with more family sometime.

Un séjour en famille mémorable

Spacieuse maison à l’espace lumineux, un véritable ski-in/ski-out, une cuisine parfaitement équipée, un vaste salon avec foyer; l’endroit a été parfait pour accueillir notre famille de 5 adultes et 2 enfants. Nous avons été déçus cependant par un ménage avant notre arrivée plus que quelconque. Nous avons dû passer l’aspirateur partout dès notre arrivée pour ramasser les poils d’animaux et la poussière. Le foyer également avait été négligé par les responsables du nettoyage. Des miettes encombraient les dessous des coussins des nombreux sofas. Le matelas de la chambre principale mérite d'être remplacé et les sofas sont fatigués. Nous conservons quand même un excellent souvenir de notre séjour et n'hésiterions pas à renouveler l'expérience.

Wonderful Renral property

What a beautiful home to spend a few days with family to celebrate Hubby’s 60th. Everything is well stocked and comfortable. We will most certainly rent this property again. It was wonderful being able to bring our older dog along.

Prime location

This was our first trip to Big White and we were not disappointed. We loved the size and location of this house. With 1 king and 3 queen beds we had more than enough space for our group of 6. The hottub had an issue prior to our arrival so it wasn't warm when we checked in. However the property manger notified us prior to arriving and even offered to let us switch houses. We didn't want to change houses so instead we were given late check out to make up for the time the hottub was not available. Overall we were very pleased with the house and the property manger. We hope to return to this house again.
