Beach Haven is the best

The location of the property was very good. The bedrooms need curtains to keep the light out. It also needs a new lock box. Dave was a very responsive before and as we were leaving.

Family getaway

The overall stay was pleasant but there were areas where we had to clean the condo. There was lots of garbage left in the living room.. mostly water bottles. We did not feel the unit was thoroughly cleaned prior to us checking in after 3pm. Also, the unit listed washer/dryer but we did not find one. Where was this located in the unit? The location was close to where we wanted to go so that was a plus. The bedrooms were spacious enough for everyone in our group. Overall great stay but would of liked to not have to clean up the unit prior to us settling in.

Great LBI Getaway

This was the perfect place for our group of 6! It was in a great location with places to eat all around. We never really noticed the noises from the ice cream shop other than people lining up outside, but other than that it wasn’t an annoyance. Loved this place and would definitely stay again!

Girls weekend

Great apartment just above an ice cream shop, perfect for our girls weekend to celebrate friends! We used the bikes for a morning ride around the neighborhood followed by a few hours relaxing down by the beach. Can’t recommend this property enough!

Great stay, great location!

Dave was an ideal host with super communication skills, professional, polite and accommodating. The place is in the perfect location, close to the beach and everything. It is well maintained. The AC worked like magic even with 90F temperatures. The kitchen has everything you need from pots, pans, silverware to a Keurig coffee machine. We really enjoyed the stay!

Perfect Location!

We had a great stay! The location is perfect! Short walk across the street to the beach. We went to Oyster House several times, Terrace Tavern also great and both right across the street. My teenage son enjoyed using the bikes almost everyday. We walked to Fantasy Island as well, it’s a longer walk but definitely doable. Dave was a great host too!

Fun beach weekend, perfect location

Was a perfect location and had everything we needed for a group of 7 adults reconnecting for a beach weekend! So nice to get ice cream and walk right upstairs and street parking was easy. AC worked great, was clean, slept us all comfortably, and had all the beach stuff we needed. Very fair house rules and clear check in /check out process. Would definitely stay again!

Great location but unit falls short

We recently stayed at this property and found the location to be absolutely amazing. It was convenient and close walk to the beach. The host was also very responsive and quick to address our inquiries, which we found reassuring. However, we were disappointed with several aspects of the unit itself. The listing mentioned that sheets and towels were not included, but this detail was buried at the bottom of the description, making it easy to overlook. Upon arrival, we discovered that there were no sheets or towels provided and had to scramble to find a store near us to buy them- which put us out $300. Additionally, we found stains on the comforters, crumbs on the pots and pans, and used tin foil in the toaster oven. There was also trash in some of the drawers. These issues suggested that the cleanliness of the unit was not up to the standard we expected. The property mentions laundry on site, however the laundry machine is shared with the ice cream shop underneath We also encountered safety concerns with the bunk beds, as there was broken wood and an exposed nail, which could be hazardous. Lastly, the blinds throughout the house were broken, making it difficult to get ready without feeling exposed to those outside. While we appreciated the great location and the host's responsiveness, we believe these issues need to be addressed to improve the overall experience for future guests.

Very rainy weekend in late September

The condo was comfortable and we had a good experience, We would have liked to know ahead of time the condo was on the third floor. We managed quite well, but it was still a surprise.

Great Spot in Season

Loved the layout of the apartment. Really nice kitchen and lighting features. A/C units in each room. Unfortunately, the ice cream store was closed but all other restaurants, bakeries, etc. were open. Didn't realize it was a 3-story walk-up, which isn't a problem for younger people, not good for some elderly.

End of August Getaway

Our other rental fell through and we went on a last minute hunt for a new spot. We normally would have chosen a quieter rental but decided to go for it and see what life is like on top of an ice cream store. We really had no issues with the store below. They play music but you can’t hear it upstairs. My kids loved going down in their pajamas and keeping an eye on the line and getting ice cream every night. My only complaint would be when the store closes from 10-10:20 the kids pumped their music loud to clean up- but it was just 20 minutes and then they all left for the night. All the descriptions are accurate of the home. The two bedrooms are on opposite sides of the kitchen so you do feel like you have your own space if you are traveling with another family. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. The kitchen and family room were spotless. There was toilet paper, trash bags, cleaning supplies and hand soap. The air conditioning works really well and the washer and drier in the basement are huge and very clean. The road is busy- but we knew that coming in so no surprises. The owner of the home was extremely fast responding to us. We were able to check in early which was great. The location of the house is close to the beach and shops. There is a hose next to the storage unit which we discovered and were happy to use for our feet. Make sure to take a spin on the tandem bike!!! That was our kids absolute highlight! Thanks for a great getaway!!!
