The Loft at Golden Meadows Farm - Ideally located between Durango and Pagosa

Welcome to The Loft at Golden Meadows Farm. This is a picturesque and peaceful getaway in the tall pines on an actual hobby farm with goats, chickens and horses. Beautiful views and hiking on site. This barn apartment is brand new with full kitchen and beautiful finishes. Enjoy meals on the porch with great views of Colorado wildlife. Conveniently located just north of Bayfield in the beautiful Pine River Valley. Convenient location to Purgatory Ski and Wolf Creek Ski as well as Durango and all of the amazing recreation our area has to offer.
Downstairs is the columbine room with queen size bed, heating and a/c and direct access to the patio with beautiful views. Bathroom includes a stone, walk in shower and all towels, soap, shampoo, and conditioner provided. Washer and drier is also included in the unit. The kitchen includes brand new appliances, dishwasher, microwave, oven/range and full sized refrigerator as well as bar top seating. Cooking utensils and dishes provided! The second bedroom is in the loft and includes a king size bed. Large patio is the perfect place to watch wildlife, listen to the birds, or enjoy a meal. Patio has a propane grill and seating. This is the perfect launching pad to adventure or serene spot to rest and enjoy the Colorado beauty. Your hosts are third and fourth generation residents of the area and can provide locals’ recommendations for the best our area has to offer. Farm fresh eggs provided for every stay.

The Loft is perfect place if you want to have a peaceful getaway and experience a piece of Colorado paradise! My husband and I so enjoyed the modern and comfy space- so clean! The horses and chickens practically right outside the windows were a bonus. I also loved the little touches like fresh farm eggs and the fire pit on the patio. Thank you for such a relaxing stay. We are sure to come back!

Our stay at The Loft was wonderful! Space was very clean and well maintained.It is located on a quiet and serene property with loads of trees. There are also very friendly farm animals nearby. Don’t hesitate to book a reservation at this lovely property. You won’t regret it!

Beautifully designed and maintained loft in a serene country setting with friendly farm animals. Location was easy to find and close to recreation and food options. Communication with Host was very easy and loft was very clean. Everything you needed for a comfy stay was available in the loft. Will definitely recommend to others and hope to visit again soon.

The Loft is just as amazing as it seemed in the ad. The property is peaceful and beautiful, located just a short, scenic drive from the Durango area. The living area was clean, up to date, and had all of the amenities and comforts of home. The farm animals on the property only added to the charm of the place. Our hosts were friendly, communicative, and provided everything we needed to make our stay great. The only minor drawback (through no fault of our host) would be the spotty internet. Not a big deal since we didn't go on vacation to be on the internet, but pointing it out just incase anyone is thinking about working remotely or can't be without their streaming services.

Beautiful Colorado Getaway

We had a wonderful time at the Loft. It was extremely clean, had all the amenities you needed, and was in a beautiful location. The host was very responsive to all of our needs and questions. My two boys loved the loft with the spiral staircase as well as the cats and goats. All in all, I would recommend this great place to anyone! It is a short easy drive to Durango!

The Loft in Bayfield, CO

The Loft is a wonderful place to stay. It’s so peaceful and beautiful! We had deer outside our door every morning. There were farm fresh eggs in the fridge for us when we arrived. They were delicious, so much better than what you buy in the store! I highly recommend if anyone is looking for a quiet place to relax and enjoy nature, this is the place. Close to Durango, there are many this to see and do in the area.

Great little.cabin

Perfect farm stay

We absolutely loved staying here. The loft was gorgeous and immaculately clean. We loved the animals also! The fresh eggs made the perfect breakfast in the morning. The house had all the supplies we needed to cook some fish we caught locally as well. We will definitely be staying again when we are in town.

Wonderful experience

Staying at this loft was a wonderful experience. It’s surrounded by nature, with adorable chickens, goats, horses, and even a cat. We also enjoyed watching a flock of turkeys cross the yard each afternoon. The rooms and furniture were clean and comfortable, and we loved starting our mornings with fresh coffee and eggs provided by the owner. This loft truly made our trip memorable!
