Walcot Loft est une toute nouvelle maison de miauliers conçue par un architecte, avec son propre espace de stationnement, dans le centre de Bath. Salon ensoleillé et lumineux, et un balcon avec une vue magnifique.

SituĂ© dans une ruelle paisible menant Ă  la riviĂšre, mais en plein cƓur de Walcot - quartier artisanal de Bath. Il est entourĂ© de merveilleux cafĂ©s, restaurants, pubs et magasins indĂ©pendants. Les principales attractions de Bath (Royal Crescent, Abbey, Thermae Spa, etc.), les galeries et les magnifiques boutiques sont Ă  5/10 minutes Ă  pied.

Notre architecte a conçu cette belle maison de 2 étages pour contraster et compléter la terrasse Regency de grade II qu'elle jouxte, et pour tirer le meilleur parti de sa position ensoleillée et de ses vues magnifiques.

Paul et moi travaillons comme designers d'intĂ©rieur et artistes et nous avons adorĂ© crĂ©er cet endroit spĂ©cial. Une grande partie des meubles et de la cuisine ont Ă©tĂ© fabriquĂ©s Ă  la main par Paul en utilisant de beaux bois rĂ©cupĂ©rĂ©s. Les murs sont remplis d'Ɠuvres d'art originales. C'est un endroit chaleureux, lĂ©ger et paisible - parfait pour une escapade d'un week-end.

Nous avons beaucoup réfléchi à ce dont nos clients auront besoin, donc la cuisine est bien équipée avec de la vaisselle, des verres, etc. de qualité. Vous trouverez une grande et petite cafetiÚre, un chauffe-lait / mousseur électrique et un bon café moulu. De la bonne qualité, du linge à haute teneur en fils est utilisé, ainsi que des serviettes douces de luxe, une couette et des oreillers en duvet d'oie. Un matelas à ressorts ensachés king-size assure une bonne nuit de sommeil.

Nous avons une autre location de vacances dans le North Devon, une grande villa en bord de mer, que nous exploitons depuis 2008 - nous sommes donc bien habitués à gérer les locations.

Toute la maison est à vous, y compris la place de parking. Nous avons une galerie d'art et un magasin de meubles vintage à proximité, faites un saut si vous avez des questions.

Fantastic comfortable mews apartment

Great, comfortable, contemporary mews very close to city centre with on site parking. It has a great balcony which was very welcome as the weather was warm.Bed was very comfortable and good quality linens throughout.Lovely extras on arrival, fresh bread, butter and milk, jams and marmalade with tea, coffee etc.I would highly recommend this place.

Good location for city centre and amenities. Quite area. Property was clean and well fitted out. Comfy bed and adequate storage. Well fitted out kichen. Loved the balcony and bifold door. Bathroom a little tired, and personally we prefer a standard shower to the rain forest type. Sofa not very comfortable. Tele jrot lusing dignal. Parking provision great. Overall a lovely stay thank you.

Disappointed

Incorrect key code given,last two digits transposed. Only wash basin was so small it was unusable, it also failed to keep water in and leaked out onto floor. Shower, however, was good. Did not appreciate bohemian wardrobe, but very comfortable bed. Parking space VERY tight, with nothing over 4000mm fitting the space. Regret, we would not return.

Wonderful place to stay. The house is clean and comfortable. Parking was an asset so close to the centre of bath. Easy walking distance to lots of shops restaurant's and pubs. Would definitely like to stay here again. Great communication from owners.. Thank you for a lovely stay

A great short stay

Creatively decorated but not cosy

Friend Fran and I thought we’d be fine in a king bed, but the only bed in the loft was queen-sized, at least in American sizes. One of us slept on - not a couch, but a love-seat!
not comfortable. In the morning, there was only enough coffee for ONE cup. In the shower, our shampoos had to be put on the floor. Would have been helpful to have a walking map of the area, which we figured out on our second day

Convenience and comfort

Perfect location for walking the old city of Bath and discovering its delights. The apartment is not the easiest to find but the directions are good. Walcot Loft is perfect for two people: spacious lounge 
 we enjoyed being able to fully open the cafĂ© doors to bring the outside in. Sleeping was comfortable. The only surprise was the tiny hand basin which is suitable for hand washing and the lack of vanity space made other body care / shaving etc problematic. That aside, we’d book there again. A lovely spot.

Perfect location if looking to stay near the town centre

This is a lovely little place and very well decorated and the use of room is amazing. Beautiful views, lovely shower and was convenient as everything was within walking difference, 20mins of that to get into town. Only down side was there was no microwave and I feel like 1 could easily fit on the side. Also, it wasn’t as clean as I would expect. The kettle was full of limescale, some of the cutlery still had food stuck to it, the shower had hairs in there and when turned on there was bits of dirt that came from the shower. I feel like if they paid as much attention to the cleanliness as they do the decorative side it would be a 10/10 property. I feel like it was lacking slightly with things being clean. However, it was a beautiful stay for a weekend and I would stay again because of the view and convenience of distance!

Character and convenience

Great location for walking to Bath highlights with nearby shops and watering holes in artsy district. Parking might be tricky for a larger car but it's great, and rare, to have onsite. Apartment has everything needed except laundry but there's a laundrette close by. Host was very communicative and helpful.

Pleasant stay; walking distance to Bath centre and other amenities. Comfortable bed, adequate shower and kitchen facilities, although no microwave; could do with a vegetable knife for chopping. This however, wouldn’t deter us from booking the apartment again.

Good location!

My wife grew up in central Bath and was delighted with the proximity of the Walcot location. We walked every where. The Loft showed good design and artistic taste. Very comfortable and the balcony was a plus. The coffee and other food essentials provided was a nice touch. It was a bit tricky to find at first - being _immediately_ after the first left hand turn of the narrow lane Cleveland Cotts. We were unsure whether to clean the floors etc before we left. All good - very pleased to have stayed there!

Lovely relaxing stay

Easy to find in a quiet back street off the main road. All very clean and tidy. Some nice little extras like milk and butter in the fridge and some little pots of jam with bread on the table. We will definitely book again when in Bath.

loft living

beautifully laid out property with everything you need for a long weekend stay. Nicely furnished with artwork and cermanics. Particularly liked the bi-fold door with views over the roofs of bath. Good location within easy walking distance of the town. Appreciated the milk, bread etc on arrival, nice to enjoy a cup of tea on arrival after a long journey.

Cute little spot

This residence is 2 levels. The bedroom and bathroom are on the lower level and the kitchen, living room and large balcony are on the upper level. The location is 10 minutes or less into Bath. It was easy to prepare meals and hang out. No microwave. Bed was comfortable.

Cozy flat for Bath Getaway

Snug and stylish flat in Bath. There are several restaurants and pubs nearby but it was never noisy or rowdy at night. This particular summer, it was very hot in Britain when we were visiting, and the addition of a fan would have been nice in the flat. However, once the windows were open, the flat cooled down nicely.
