Coppertop Chalet - cozy and convenient!

The Coppertop Chalet is a traditional mountain chalet within a short drive to the Bryce Resort lodge & ski/bike lifts and an even shorter trip to dining (Burn Barrel tavern, Pale Fire Brewing, and RHouse Wine Bar & Cafe) in Basye. A stunning wooded lot in the summer and shoulder seasons gives way to views of Great North Mountain in wintertime. The great room's huge glass doors, windows, and deck create the sense being outside, even when while cozy inside. Access to this ski chalet is just two steps up to entry level, which makes for effortless unpacking. Located within the Bryce Resort community, this chalet's convenience to Basye and the Resort make it both cozy and convenient.

It's a great location for families and groups that want easy in & out access to the house and local amenities throughout their stay.

FEATURES & AMENITIES:
The open, spacious great room includes a dining area and living room with a wood-burning fireplace. Two large patio doors open to the spacious deck in the trees - perfect for fixing dinner on the gas grill and relaxing around the gas fire table. The kitchen includes updated appliances and is conveniently located adjacent to the great room and dining area and includes basic cookware, tableware, appliances, and a basket-style drip coffee maker (filters provided, but please bring your favorite grind). The dining area seats four at the table and another two at the kitchen bar. The main floor also includes two bedrooms, one with two twins and the other with a queen bed, and renovated full bathroom. The spacious loft looks out through the great room's huge windows and has one queen, a quiet reading nook, and it's own balcony. A stacked washer & dryer unit is in the main floor queen bedroom. Sleeps six comfortably.

The chalet is supplied with bedding (pillows, bedspreads, blankets), fresh bed linens, one towel set per max occupants, one travel-size bar soap per max occupants, two rolls toilet paper per bathroom, two dishwasher tabs, five trash bags, one bath trash bag per bathroom, one paper towel roll, one kitchen dish towel, one travel-size dish soap, and one scrubby pad. We encourage guests with large groups, or who are staying several nights, or who are heavy users of consumable supplies to bring extra supplies or purchase them at the local Basye Community Store.

The Smart TV allows guests to log into popular streaming apps, and blazing-fast 500+mbps WiFi internet is sufficient for everyone to work, stream, and game at the same time.

OTHER NOTABLES:
Up to two dogs are permitted at $100 per pet, per stay extra. Please, no cats or other animals due to allergy sensitivities.

This is a Self-Check-In unit. You'll receive check-in instructions via email seven days prior to arrival (or immediately if booking within seven days) that include the property's address, driving directions, a unique Key Code, and other important information.

This property has a propane gas grill and a propane fire pit/table on the main level deck. It does NOT have an outdoor hot tub.

Guests have unlimited access to our pool at our check-in office (2565 Orkney Grade), which is very close to this property. Please note that Bryce Resort pool (Bryce Landing) is private for Bryce Resort members only. See pictures of our (Bryce Mountain Escapes) pool in the unit listing, which is open 9am-5pm, Monday through Saturday between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

Quiet hours after 10:00 pm are strongly enforced by the local security and police.

Bryce Resort offers many activities and features throughout the year, including snow skiing/boarding, snow tubing, golf, Lake Laura swimming, canoeing, paddle boarding, paddle boating, and kayaking, and a thrill-filled lift-accessed mountain bike park. Bryce Resort is also the perfect launch point for many other adventures in the northern Shenandoah Valley, including hiking, fishing, hot air ballooning, visiting wineries & breweries, exploring caverns, antiquing, enjoying the Shenandoah Valley Music Festival on summer Saturdays in nearby Orkney Springs, and so much more.
