Welcome to The Longhorn, a lakefront safari tent by Cameron Ranch Glamping, developed in partnership with GLAT Austin inside Lake Bastrop North Shore Park. Just one hour from downtown Austin, this spacious tent combines Texas charm, nature, and comfort — perfect for families or small groups looking for a relaxing lakeside getaway.

Inside, you’ll find a thoughtfully designed space featuring a king bed and twin bunk beds, ideal for up to 3 guests. The tent is equipped with full HVAC heating and cooling, comfortable furnishings, and soft linens to make your glamping experience as cozy as it is memorable.

You’ll also have a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee pot with complimentary coffee to enjoy quiet mornings by the lake. While there’s no private bathroom, guests have access to clean, shared park restrooms and showers located just a short walk away.

Outside, enjoy your private fire pit and gas grill overlooking Lake Bastrop — perfect for evening cookouts or relaxing under a sky full of stars. Whether it’s roasting s’mores or sipping coffee at sunrise, The Longhorn makes every moment outdoors feel special.

🐾 Pet Friendly: Up to two dogs are welcome for a $49 fee per pet, per stay. Please clean up after pets, keep them on a leash outdoors, and never leave them unattended.

The Longhorn is where comfort meets adventure. Spend your mornings hiking or kayaking, your afternoons relaxing by the water, and your evenings around the fire under Texas stars. You’ll be staying inside a public park called North Shore Park at Lake Bastrop, where you may see other glamping guests and families nearby. For group trips, you can book multiple tents or cabins together for a fun, shared outdoor experience.

This is glamping — where comfort meets the outdoors. You may see deer, squirrels, or a few friendly bugs. Keep your tent zipped, bring bug spray if sensitive, and don’t leave food or trash outside overnight.

• Located inside Lake Bastrop North Shore Park (operated by LCRA)

• One parking space included; overflow nearby

• Firewood not provided (available at LCRA Camp Store)

• Always check for active burn bans before lighting fires

• One propane tank provided per stay

After booking, you’ll receive a secure Lodgify email to verify your ID before arrival.

💳 Payment & Cancellation Policy

• 50% non-refundable deposit due at booking

• Remaining 50% charged 14 days before check-in

• Cancel within 24 hours of booking: 90% refund of deposit (10% kept for processing)

• Cancel up to 30 days before check-in: 90% refund of deposit (10% kept for processing)

• Cancel less than 30 days before check-in: no refund

• Weather-related cancellations: no refunds unless a county emergency order is issued

• $150 security hold placed 1 day before check-in, released after checkout
