We recently stayed at this property in Christophe Harbour and, unfortunately, it did not meet the expectations set by the listingâparticularly given it is described and marketed as a luxury villa.To begin with a positive, the gated community itself is beautiful, quiet, and very well-maintained. The overall setting and location are excellent, and itâs clear the broader development reflects a high standard.However, the home itself does not align with that standard.One of the most concerning issues was the way amenities were represented. The listing prominently features a pool, creating the impression that it is included with the rental. In reality, the pool is located at the Pavilion and requires a 50 per person, per day fee to access. This was not disclosed in the listing, which also states that all fees are included. After we raised this concern, the property manager did provide a one-day guest pass, which we appreciated, but this did not resolve the broader issue of inaccurate and misleading presentation.There were also multiple functional and maintenance concerns throughout the home. Several appliances were not working properly, including the stovetop. The kitchen sink had drainage issues and would not clear even after using the solution provided. The dishwasher contained dishes upon arrival, and it was unclear whether they had been cleaned, so we chose not to use it.We were also told not to use the washer and dryer due to water concerns, despite these being list
