This area is a photographer’s paradise, a birder’s dream and an artist’s inspiration.

Don’t forget your binoculars, see the abundant bird life either from the comfort of your deck, or out and about on the property. Get lucky and you may catch a glimpse of the elusive lyrebird, gang-gang cockatoo, glossy black cockatoo or the brilliant satin bower bird. More commonly you will see fairy wrens, king parrots, spinebills, and kookaburras.

Go out in the evening and you might spot a wombat, or some wallabies in the paddocks in the afternoon

This is the place for people wanting time out, for relaxation, meditation and contemplation. It is perfect for overseas guests or a fantastic introduction to the natural world for children. There are opportunities to closely watch some of the farm chickens and goats.

Pour yourself a coffee and join the early birds for the dawn chorus. Nothing beats that first sip being interrupted by a kookaburra laughing.

Plunge into the stunning copper bath on the deck with that special someone or by yourself with a drink in your hand soaking up the serenity, and indulging in that well-earned peace.

Have shared access to the Bali Hut, a perfect spot to sit near the creek and take in the peace with that little bit of a tropical feel. Have a chance to spot a kingfisher, or a kangaroo coming to drink while you’re there. Share stories around the fire pit, and make memories together with only the sounds of the natural world.
