The apartment is located next to Paseo de Gracia street, and 10 min away from Plaza Catalunya, the city centre of Barcelona.



The Space:

Welcome to this 170 m2 spacious and bright flat in a historical building located next to the emblematic centre of Barcelona, Plaça Catalunya and Paseo de Gracia.



This spacious and bright three-bedroom / three-bathroom with beautifully contemporary decor and a super calm feel is really an ideal place to come back to after a day of exploring. Natural light flows through the living area, making it bright and airy. Surrounded by large windows, the room has a large, comfy sofa, and flat-screen TV, so you can make yourself at home.



The open-plan space includes a dining table, so you can enjoy a meal with family or friends. You’ll find everything you need to prepare a meal in the fully-equipped kitchen. In the bedrooms, get a wonderful night’s rest on the super comfortable beds. The design of the room includes a large wardrobe with plenty of storage space, so you won’t have to live out of your suitcase.



⚠ VERY IMPORTANT Please note the apartment is located in a residential building, where neighbors live here all year around and it is our obligation to respect their rest. Walls are very thin and other residents of the building very sensitive to noises. Please make sure before confirming your reservation you can adhere to the simple House Rules that are detailed below. Failure to accept and follow those will result on a monetary sanction and eviction from the property with no refund for the remaining nights.

The Neighborhood:

The apartment is conveniently located 5 minutes away Paseo de Gracia avenue and in the very middle of Eixample district. This elegant, majestic boulevard was a showcase for Barcelona's bourgeoisie at the turn of the 19th century, and links the Plaça Catalunya with the district of Gràcia, hence its name. The presence of Barcelona's finest modernista buildings makes this avenue a veritable open-air museum.



Barcelona's new artery, in the centre of the newly built Eixample district, was the place moneyed bourgeois families chose to live. On either side of the street, they constructed imposing buildings that continue to delight everyone who passes by. These jewels of Catalonia's home-grown art nouveau, modernisme, and the later movement, noucentisme, were created by architects of the calibre of Gaudí (La Pedrera and the Casa Batlló), Puig i Cadafalch (casa Amatller), and DomÚnech i Muntaner (Casa Lleó Morera), to name just three. On the pavement we can see the organic paving stones designed by Gaudí, and along the boulevard are the streetlamps by Pere Falqués, with their white-mosaic benches. The architectural jewels stand side by side with some of Barcelona's most prestigious shops.



Getting Around:

The closest metro station is Passeig de Gracia (Lines 2, 3 & 4).

The quickest way to go to the airport would be taking the train towards "Aeroport" at Passeig de Gracia. There are trains every 20min and it costs around 5€.



Other Things to Note:

*** TOURIST TAX & REGISTRATION PROCESS ***



- Since 2012 the Catalan administration requires that every guest staying in a hotel room or renting an apartment in Catalunya contributes with a small city tax fee of 9.50€ per guest (over 17 years old) per night up to a maximum of 7 nights. This cost IS NOT included on your reservation.



- National and International police demand that each guest, prior to their visit to Barcelona, would send information of their IDs or passports. This is mandatory, as it is stated in Catalan Law, and all legal touristic establishments are required to do so.



- This apartment uses a self-checkin system via the Chekin platform that will allow you to register all guests on the reservation

and pay the mandatory tourist taxes before your arrival.

Check-in time is at 17:00 hrs



Check-out is at 11:00 am (non-agreed late check-outs will incur on a 100€ charge per hour late)



*** HOUSE RULES ***



1. Parties, drugs, loud noise or any kind of disturbance towards the neighbors are completely forbidden, with a penalty of 400€ and possible eviction

2. Please observe quiet time between 10pm - 9am.

3. Respect your neighbors and be respectful in common areas (hallways, entrance, elevator, stairs).

4. Loss of keys will have a 100€ charge per key lost.

5. Smoking on interior areas will have a charge of 100€ + all cleaning fees involved.

6. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities.

7. Please leave the apartment in a respectable condition.



Not following those rules will incur on a monetary sanction and the full responsibility of any fines from the local administration or authorities.

APPARTEMENT TRES TRES BIEN SITUE

Appartement trÚs agréable et trÚs fonctionnel Serait parfait si toutes les lampes fonctionnaient et si étaient fournis un minimum de produits d'entretien ainsi qu' un peu plus que le plus strict minimum possible d'équipement de cuisine. Il y a trÚs clairement un manque de contrÎle de l'état des lieux.

It was an absolute pleasure staying here. There was plenty of room for the six of us. The apartment was very spacious, and the furnishings were very nice.The location cannot be beat. There is so much to do, and all within walking distance.I asked our host multiple questions about the area, arrival times, and more. They were very kind and easy to communicate with.I cannot brag enough!

Perfect location

The property was very clean and all the necessary amenities. Communication with the property owner was very prompt and helpful. They accommodated all our needs. Great location and spacious property.

The location is perfect, centrally located, and close to metro lines. The unit is very spacious, just as described. Communication with the host is straightforward, and the host is very responsive and usually answers within 10 to 15 minutes. Although the unit is on a big street, we heard no street noise once the windows were shut. However, I can feel the train underground passing through. It didn't bother us after the first night. The apartment is generally clean, but one bathroom has visible mold spots between the grouts. Central heating is only available on one side of the unit. The unit was cold when we entered, and it took us a little while to figure out the heating system. It was fine after the first night.

Outstanding location, spacious & quiet flat

Large spacious flat. Lots of natural light in a building steps away from Casa Battlo, shopping and restaurants. Three of us had plenty of room and privacy. You will need WiFi to access the front door for the first time. Only hiccup was there was no kitchen soap, laundry pod when we arrived which took several days to get delivered. Also the hallway bathroom’s shower floor is slippery and there is some wear and tear in one of the bathrooms. And there were some lights that did not work but wasn’t a problem given how light and airy the flat is. Overall the location and size were unbeatable. Pictures are accurate.

Barcelona vacation

This was our first trip to Spain (we are from the US). We loved this apartments central location and Barcelona in general! The neighborhood was very nice with lots of places to eat and drink within an easy walk from this location. The management company was very attentive and easy to communicate with and were very helpful.

Loved Barcelona

Apartment was a good size. It is a central location and close to the City Tour bus pick up location. You have a 20 minute walk to attractions. A/C unit we had issues with but got some of the unit fixed. We had no hot water on our departure day which was a hastle. The keyless door caused a bit of issues with sometimes not being able to connect. Dead phone also creates a problem with no keys. All in all it was a great stay in Barcelona

Well appointed apartment in a great location.

This apartment is in a fantatstic location - steps from desirable metro stations and train station, in the heart of fashionable Passeig de Gracia. Away from the crowds of the tourist district, but with easy access to all the sites. The apartment is spacious, clean and exactly as advertised. Very comfortable beds, all amenities, everything you need for a comfortable stay. Convenient grocery supermarket and coffee shops just a block away, lots of wonderful restaurants in the neighborhood. The owner was responsive to questions. We stayed as a family of five without any issues at all. There is a convenient work area located in the apartment for work or business. The entry to this apartment is keyless which requires you to have internet access. I would highly recommend this apartment. Wonderful stay in Barcelona.

Fantastic Apartment!

We booked this apartment for a week stay in Barcelona for 6 adults. It was perfect! Each couple had their own room and bathroom. The location was central to everything we wanted to do while visiting. Property management was responsive to all our inquiries. A wonderful place to stay!

Excellent location and excellent communication

We went to Spain to visit our son who is studying abroad and college. This location was ideal, close to the sites and good food. Very safe. Great communication with the host. If you are traveling from the United States, please be reminded that the washing machines and dryers in Europe are smaller and slower than ours! But everything was just as described, and the apartment was beautiful and very very spacious. Perfect for four adults and it really could hold a lot more people.
