This house is located in Montgat which is a charming place with a privileged location. It is located on the Mediterranean coast, a few kilometres north of Barcelona, which makes it an ideal place for those who want to enjoy the tranquillity of the sea and the proximity of a cosmopolitan city.

The history of the area dates back to Roman times, when Montgat was an important fishing port. For centuries, fishing activity was the main source of income in the area, until the mid-20th century, when urbanisation and the construction of residential housing began.

Today, Montgat is a quiet and attractive place for those seeking a coastal experience without the hustle and bustle of the city. Some of the tourist attractions close to the flat include Montgat beach, a beautiful promenade, the Montgat Tower and the Church of Sant MartĂ­ de Montgat.

For those interested in sampling the local gastronomy, there are a variety of typical bars and restaurants in the area. Amazing 4 bedroom house, perfect for your family and friends. The living room is spacious and bright, with a modern and cosy decor, with a large sofa perfect for lounging after a long day. In the bedrooms, the master bedroom has a super comfy bed with fresh sheets to ensure you get a good night's sleep. And if you're worried about storage, don't worry, each bedroom has ample storage space so you can unpack and feel at home from the get-go.

The apartment is equipped with air conditioning in the living room only. The bedrooms do not have A/C, but fans are provided to ensure your comfort during your stay.

The kitchen is fully equipped so you can prepare delicious meals at home, with everything you need for your favourite dishes. And when you want to enjoy the outdoors, simply head up to the terrace and relax with a cool drink while enjoying the views.

Please note that the bathrooms inside the bedrooms are open-style (no separate bathroom door), only the bedroom itself has a door for privacy. On the top floor, the bathroom is external to the bedroom and has its own door.

All foreign vehicles must register to drive around Barcelona.
Those interested will have to request the registration of the vehicle in the Metropolitan Registry of foreign vehicles.

Once the fulfillment of the requirements has been validated, the applicant will be notified of the registration of the vehicle and the authorization to circulate in Barcelona.

Vehicle registration will be resolved (accepted, denied or incomplete) within 15 business days of the request.

- You will be required to show your ID/Passport upon arrival. In order to follow local regulations and to be able to register all our guests on the local police’s database, we will have to scan these documents for all guests. I hope this is not an inconvenient!
- A tourist tax will need to be paid separately at check-in in cash. This charge is 1.10€ per person per night for a maximum of 7 nights. Guests up to 16 years old do not pay. We will appreciate that you bring the exact amount with you.
-Starting in May 1st, a tourist tax of 2.20€ per person per night will be charged for a maximum of 7 nights. This tax must be paid separately at check-in in cash. Guests up to 16 years old do not pay.
- For bookings made on the same day we cannot guarantee that we will be able to welcome you in the apartment within three hours of confirmation of your reservation.
-Please avoid leaving the keys in the lock from the inside when you go out, as this can prevent you from being able to open the door upon your return. If this happens, a locksmith would need to be called, and the cost, depending on the time and urgency, can be quite high (often starting from around €250). In such cases, the guest would be responsible for covering this cost.

No air-conditioning in 3 out of 4 bedrooms so not suitable for hot months

I'm sorry to say that we cannot recommend this house. We visited during a hot week in Barcelona (last week of June) and half of us had to book completely separate accommodation after the first night.The house has 4 bedrooms (2 on the first floor, 2 on the second floor) and only one of these has air conditioning. The two bedrooms on the top floor were absolutely uninhabitable during day or night. Fans were provided, but they really were not enough to make the bedrooms livable and suitable for sleeping. Myself and my husband and small kids had to book different accommodation after the first night as it was simply too hot in the bedrooms. My parents stayed in the one bedroom with air-conditioning, which was great. We also struggled with getting the living room air conditioning actually cooling - this was somewhat resolved after about 3 days, but still not enough to make the downstairs a nice temperature during the heat.If you are visiting during a time when Barcelona does not get hot, the house could work well. It is spread across three stories with lots of steep stairs, so it is perhaps not ideal with very small children, but otherwise it is nice, kept clean. But I cannot recommend it for warm weather as it simply got too hot to stay there. We communicated with the owner via messaging service and eventually got a technician to come and service the living room AC, but there was nothing apart from "use fans provided" to account for the heat in the top bedrooms.
