The Collection Barcelona welcomes you to this modern and bright 2 bedroom / 1 bathroom flat, located at the heart of Barcelona's City Center, perfect for those who want to stay in the old neighbourhood of the city with plenty to do on your doorstep. The apartment is located next to Las Ramblas and Liceu theater.



The Space:

Welcome to this 60 m2 spacious and bright flat in a historical building located next to Las Ramblas and the emblematic centre of Barcelona, Plaça Catalunya. Barcelona’s historic Old Town is an ideal spot for art and culture lovers, containing some of the most emblematic monuments and museums of the city.



We are managers of other apartments in the building, really convenient for big families, groups of friends or business trips. Please note all apartments are almost identical, on layout, equipment and characteristics, but there might be some small changes on decoration.



APARTMENT DISTRIBUTION:

The apartment has a capacity for up to 4 people distributed in 2 bedrooms:

The Neighborhood:

El Raval is a cosmopolitan and multicultural neighborhood that is part of the Ciutat Vella district, the historic part of Barcelona. It is the perfect place for lovers of history and culture, as it is home to emblematic monuments and museums of Barcelona. The Palau GĂŒell, the MACBA, the CCCB and the famous Mercado de la Boqueria are some of the symbols of this neighborhood where people of all nationalities converge.



Getting Around:

- The apartment is located 5 minutes away from Liceu metro station (L3) by Las Ramblas.

- The easiest way to get from/to the airport is taking the Aerobus at Plaza Catalunya, this costs around 4,50 EUR per person.



Other Things to Note:

*** TOURIST TAX & REGISTRATION PROCESS ***



- Since 2012 the Catalan administration requires that every guest staying in a hotel room or renting an apartment in Catalunya contributes with a small fee of 6.25€ per guest (over 17 years old) per night up to a maximum of 7 nights. This cost IS NOT included on your reservation.



- National and International police demand that each guest, prior to their visit to Barcelona, would send information of their IDs or passports. This is mandatory, as it is stated in Catalan Law, and all legal touristic establishments are required to do so.



- This apartment uses a self-checkin system via the Chekin platform that will allow you to register all guests on the reservation

and pay the mandatory tourist taxes before your arrival.

Check-out is at 11:00 am (non-agreed late check-outs will incur on a 100€ charge per hour late)



*** HOUSE RULES ***



1. Parties, drugs, loud noise or any kind of disturbance towards the neighbors are completely forbidden, with a penalty of 400€ and possible eviction

2. Please observe quiet time between 10pm - 9am.

3. Respect your neighbors and be respectful in common areas (hallways, entrance, elevator, stairs).

4. Loss of keys will have a 100€ charge per key lost.

5. Smoking on interior areas will have a charge of 100€ + all cleaning fees involved.

6. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities.

7. Please leave the apartment in a respectable condition.



Not following those rules will incur on a monetary sanction and the full responsibility of any fines from the local administration or authorities.

Les points positifs: emplacement: 3 min à pieds de la Rambla et du marché de la Boqueria, rue peu bruyante.Les réponses su concierges sont trÚs rapides et l'accÚs grace à l'application est facile ainsi que les indications données en amont.Les points négatifs: nous avions réservé pour 4 mais seulement 3 chaises, les lits étaient pour 3 (nous avons eu une paire de draps à minuit), les matelas étaient trÚs sales, le ménage est fait en surface(pas sous les meubles ni sous le canapé).Le carrelage de la salle de bain est abimés à plusieurs endroits (trous dans les murs), le lavabo se détache du mur.Les tiroirs (salle de bain et salon) ne sont pas utilisables sous peine qu'ils vous restent dans les mains.... nous les avons réparés.Et encore pleins de petites choses qui sont dommageables.L'appartement nécessite une rafraichissement et une rigueur supplémentaire au niveau du ménage.Il ne manquerait pas grand chose pour que se soit correcte.

The Apartment location is great, a few minutes walk from Mercat de la Boqueria, eay walk to the Metro and a supermarket, just outside the apartment. Easy keyless check-in and good communication. Will stay here again next time we are in Barcelona

The best thing about this property is its’ location. The bathroom had been updated but the rest of the apartment was of marginal quality. We spent our entire days exploring Barcelona and so all we needed was a comfortable place to sleep, however, the bed mattresses are paper thing as well as the pillows. The most difficult part of our stay was that the apartment was advertised with having AC. When we got there it was hot and so was the apartment. We immediately contacted the host who tried to walk us through turning on the AC via the thermostat and then flipping all of the breaker switches. It didn’t work. We had to contact the host every day asking for updates for relief. They did drop off two fans, however, in order to drop the temp even a little we had to open the windows, which let in all of the loud people partying in the neighborhood. A technician finally arrived 5 days after our arrival to tell us that the AC would not be working any time soon and that he seemed to imply it hadn’t worked for a while. I asked for a rate adjustment because we did not receive what was advertised and did not have one good night’s sleep. They ignored this request offering a late check out the final day and then claiming a translation error when I called them on that being our rate adjustment. If you aren’t going to offer AC you shouldn’t be falsely advertising that you have it. If it truly was broken and you didn’t know it, you should have refunded us something.

Unterkunft im allgemeinen war okey. Badezimmer riechte nach Schimmel wie auch das Zimmer mit dem einzel Bett. Zu wenige Hand/ DuschtĂŒcher. Sehr zentral nur leider viele Obdachlose in dieser Gegend. Und es war sehr laut. Kein Bett hatte keine richtige Matratze alle Betten waren sehr sehr unbequem.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura a Barcellona e ci siamo trovati molto bene. La posizione ù davvero ottima: centrale, a pochi passi dalla Rambla e vicinissima alla fermata della metro Liceu, perfetta per muoversi facilmente in città. L’alloggio ù carino, accogliente e comodo, ideale per chi cerca una sistemazione pratica in una zona vivace e ben collegata.

Property has been well used. I stayed for 12 days and it served its purpose. Very close to la Rambla for shopping food and to the metro. The beds are uncomfortable, squeaky and could use replacing along with the pillows. Also the bathroom shower has no door so it does get water all over and has a smell of mold from the water leaking for some time. We were comfortable with the access, the convenience and price. It was like having our own apartment in Barcelona. The management was communicative and helped when asked with a slight problem with door access one day of our visit. Unit has a nice balcony which was enjoyable to open up each morning. The property is great honestly and we will be back to Barcelona next year! Check out brunch & cake, forns de pi bakery, and bellevija restaurant nearby. Another tip utilizing the metro saves time and money compared to cabs.

Good Rental

This rental was central to everything we needed. My friend and I have endured all types of environments, so our tolerance level for issues may be higher than others. We arrived a bit late and in the rain. The check-in app used by the host did not have the correct authorization. Our eSIM wouldn’t allow us to call the host but the small connivence store owner on the corner called for us and we explained our issue. The host provided a new authorization and we had no problems accessing the unit thereafter. The mattresses seemed older and could use updating. The shower does not have a door and the water spreads out to near the toilet. The baseboards appeared to have water damage as a result. With repeat use by constant rentals, this may cause other long term issues. A bit of graphite powder or WD40 in the door hinges to the front bedroom would help with the creaking (This is the contractor in me speaking). Lastly, the walls are thin, on both the outside and inside. For our purposes, the rental was good. The price outweighed the issues above. Thank you to the staff for hosting us and helping us get out of the rain. I’d recommend a door code as a backup/redundancy to the app used to enter the residence.

Amazing stay in the heart of La Rambla

My daughter and me had a brilliant stay at this place. Coming from USA I needed answers promptly before booking and the host was simply great with response time and direction.Location: We came from Terminal 1 and took the Aerobus right outside the terminal to Plaça de Catalunya and then a one stop to Liceu train station with a 3 minute walk to the apartment. All shops, markets, restaurants are a few minutes walking disrtance with the area being really safe at all hours.The apartment it self has comforatble beds with side tables and lamps and lights and we had great nights sleeping. The beds and pillows were also comforatble.The kitchen is everything you can ask for, microwave, dishwasher, a large refrigerator with freezer, a stove, toaster and also a coffee maker although i had fresh coffee just outside the apartment in a cafe. The host had also all utensils, glasses etc.I didnt mention that there were two small beautiful balconies there too.I forgot but we didnt use the washer and dryer but we did use the iron and ironing board. The host also had exrtra balnkets, pillows etc.Overall I will definetly love to stay here again in future which I know I am definetly coming back.Thank you so much for an amazing stay and I just luv barcelona, its culture and the catalan people and on another note FC Barcelona has always been my fottball team

Great location but not great overall

Great location right off the Ramblas but this property has been 'rode hard and put away wet' as we say in the US. Beds had 5 inch mattresses, with plastic mattress covers on low quality frames. The shower was almost unusable - as the spout handle was broken. Others in the building partied loudly until 3am. We stayed at 5 VRBOs on this trip and this was by far the worst. Not worth the high price.
