The neighborhood is just a couple of steps from La Rambla, one of the main and most famous streets in town! Find some of the trendiest restaurants right by the same street and Barcelona's beach just a couple steps away!



The Space:

Welcome to this wonderful and spacious 285m2 apartment located right next to Las Ramblas. My spacious and bright flat with garden is the ideal place to stay for and unforgettable and true local experience, a true oasis by the city centre.



This incredible property is overlooking Barcelona’s most iconic central avenue: Las Ramblas. It can generously accommodate 12 people in a beautiful LOFT for a total of 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The apartment also features a huge and open space kitchen, living room dinning table area, with views over the impressive private garden! A 2 story glass wall located by the living room allows an incredible amount of light from your own private patio into the living room, ideal for spending some family time or even for working remotely... if necessary ;)



⚠️ VERY IMPORTANT Please note the apartment is located in a residential building, where neighbors live here all year around and it is our obligation to respect their rest. Please make sure before confirming your reservation you can adhere to the simple House Rules that are detailed below. Failure to accept and follow those will result on a monetary sanction and eviction from the property with no refund for the remaining nights.

The apartment has a capacity for up to 12 guests distributed in 5 bedrooms:



- Bedroom 1: Double bed

- Bedroom 2: Double bed

- Bedroom 3: Double bed (upper floor)

- Bedroom 4: 2 Double beds + 1 Single bed (upper floor)

- Bedroom 5: Double bed + double sofa bed (step-free access from the street to this independent studio unit)

The Neighborhood:

If you’re here for the city

This is the city center. Barcelona is a vibrant place, with its contagious exuberance constantly spilling out onto small streets and cute Plaças packed with cafes, bars and local designer shops. You will be right on the iconic La Rambla, ready to wander down this eclectic stretch of restaurants, bars, cultural venues, street vendors, convenience stores, fashion boutiques and just about anything else you can think of. Turn into any of the small streets and get teleported back a few centuries. Explore palaces, history rich sites like Plaça Reial, admire street performers and avoid flower sellers. There’s an El Corte Inglés department store, in the heart of the city: Plaça Catalunya.

A notable stop on La Rambla is its famous Boqueria, a fresh-food market with over 300 stalls that sell produce, meats, cheeses, fish, seafood, nuts, fresh juices and many other incredibly delicious things to munch on. There’s also a local food school where local chefs and sommeliers share their wisdom.



If you’re here for the beach

Stroll past Plaça Reial, and stop for a beer or coffee (or, as the locals would say, “both”) under the shade of its old palm trees. Contemplate the gothic architecture around Barcelona’s 800 years old Cathedral, all covered in gargoyles. See Columbus’s statue, admire the yachts in the marina and stroll through the Barceloneta streets onto the nearest beaches for the Mediterranean vibe. Elegant colonial buildings surround you. Shadowy arches. High windows. Fading wooden shutters. Travel back in time as you wander the narrow streets. The buildings lean overhead, almost touching.



If you’re here for nature

Parc Guell, Parc de Ciutadella and many other locations such as Montjuic or Tibidabo are easily accessible by metro, bus or taxi. There are many places where you can enjoy the beauty of nature, wild colored flowers or fragrant bushes. Just to visit all the attractions of Montjuic could easily take you a week. Here you can find not one but two wondrous botanical gardens, one of them a picture perfect cactus reservation that’s one of the natural wonders of Barcelona, The Fundacio Miro, The Poble Espanyol, The Theatre Grec, Palau Sant Jordi or the former Olympic village are only some of the attractions on Montjuic, but neither rivals the panoramic view of the city and the sea you will get from up there.



If you’re here for shopping

Shop ‘til you drop! Or maybe not that much, but still, find local designers and cute boutique stores plus the big Corte Ingles within walking distance, or start on Portal del Angel and walk towards Passeig de Gracia / Rambla de Catalunya. If you’re looking for something more upscale, go to the Corte Ingles on Diagonal, or to Diagonal Mar, Europe’s biggest luxury shopping mall.

Pro tip: You’ll love the boutiques on Carrer d’Avinyó. At Number 7 you’ll find La Manual Alpargatera. It sells espadrille-inspired shoes. It's whispered they cut their colours from a real rainbow. Grey-purple-green? No problem.



If you’re here for museums

Rest assured, all the adjoining neighbourhoods like Gothic, Born and Raval are full of museums, monuments and interesting cultural venues like Museo de la Marina, MACBA (for Contemporary Art) or the Catalan Cultural Center, plus some fun and interesting stuff for kids of all ages (Big Fun Museum and Museum of Illusions or the Wax Museum). The Gran Teatre del Liceu (Opera) is also a few steps away, in fact, they’re your neighbours on La Rambla. Bonus, everything is within walking distance. Head toward the Marina for the Aquarium, and maybe stop at the Erotic Museum on your way - it’s close.



Getting Around:

- The apartment is located 5 minutes away from Liceu metro station (L3) by Las Ramblas.

- The easiest way to get from/to the airport is taking the Aerobus at Plaza Catalunya, this costs around 4,50 EUR per person.



Other Things to Note:

*** TOURIST TAX & REGISTRATION PROCESS ***



- Since 2012 the Catalan administration requires that every guest staying in a hotel room or renting an apartment in Catalunya contributes with a small city tax fee of 9.50€ per guest (over 17 years old) per night up to a maximum of 7 nights. This cost IS NOT included on your reservation.



- National and International police demand that each guest, prior to their visit to Barcelona, would send information of their IDs or passports. This is mandatory, as it is stated in Catalan Law, and all legal touristic establishments are required to do so.



- This apartment uses a self-checkin system via the Chekin platform that will allow you to register all guests on the reservation

and pay the mandatory tourist taxes before your arrival.



*** CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT ***



Check-in time is at 17:00 hrs



Check-out is at 11:00 am (non-agreed late check-outs will incur on a 100€ charge per hour late)



*** HOUSE RULES ***



1. Parties, drugs, loud noise or any kind of disturbance towards the neighbors are completely forbidden, with a penalty of 400€ and possible eviction

2. Please observe quiet time between 10pm - 9am.

3. Respect your neighbors and be respectful in common areas (hallways, entrance, elevator, stairs).

4. Loss of keys will have a 100€ charge per key lost.

5. Smoking on interior areas will have a charge of 100€ + all cleaning fees involved.

6. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities.

7. Please leave the apartment in a respectable condition.



Not following those rules will incur on a monetary sanction and the full responsibility of any fines from the local administration or authorities.
