The outdoor spaces are exquisite, with a hot tub, outdoor shower and grilling area!

The home features three bedrooms plus an additional sleeping space in the office, which also provides a workspace should guests need to work while visiting. The master bedroom offers a queen-sized bed, the second bedroom accommodates four people with a queen-sized bed and a set of bunk beds. A nursery bedroom has a twin trundle bed (2 twins) with a nursery setup for a baby. The office has a workspace and a queen pull out sofa bed.

Everything about this house was incredible! This was the easiest rental we've ever stayed in with our children - there were plenty of kid's books and the crib and changing table was a huge help. The gym was a great touch, and all of the furniture was super comfortable for the whole family!

Beautiful property inside and out. Seven of us enjoyed our yearly family vacation here as it was centrally located for many of our excursions. Hot tub was so nice, kitchen was fully furnished, gym in the basement was a bonus. The only thing that would have been more helpful was staples such as flour, sugar, oil to use while cooking.

Beautiful, well appointed house close to Bar Harbor

The property is better that what is depicted in the photos. It had everything we needed, and many things that were unexpected surprises. The hot tub was clean and warm, so need to wait. The unit ACs worked efficiently, but if they are all turned off on a hot day, the house gets pretty warm. We learned the hard way because we stayed during a major heat wave. The kitchen was clean and spacious, and even had a oyster shucking knife...which was perfect because Bar Harbor Oyster Company is only a few minutes from the house. It was close to Bar Harbor and Acadia NP, but far enough away to be away from traffic. We say deer on or near the property everyday, and heard song birds in the morning.The deck was a perfect place to have a morning coffee or evening cocktail while watching the kids on the swing. We could not be happier and would definitely stay there again if we returned.

Wonderful Visit

We stayed at this home for a week in August 2024. It was perfect — exactly as advertised and very comfortable. The house is private and you’re not aware of nearby residences. As a bonus, the house has a nice gym and hot tub. The location is very convenient to everything on Mt. Desert island and far enough from downtown Bar Harbor that there is no congestion. We’d happily stay again.

Great base for Acadia visit

We visited over July 4 for about a week. Great place to get to Acadia and Bar Harbor. House is beautiful and has lots of amenities. The response over the vrbo app wasn't very fast and we had an issue getting into the house. Would ask for a reachable phone number vs. relying on vrbo messaging. Also, if you like to take walks from the property or run, this is not the place for you. The main road off the property is very busy with no sidewalk. But if you're driving to hikes etc., it's a great spot. Kitchen has everything you need if you like to cook.

Beautiful House for a Wonderful Vacation

We had the pleasure of staying at this house in the beginning of October while my family and I explored Acadia National Park and we had such a wonderful time! The house is absolutely beautiful - there was plenty of room for us to enjoy burgers on the grill together on the spacious front porch, and for us all to have dinner together at the large dining room table. Taking a dip in the hot tub and cuddling up on the couches in the living room for family movie night was a perfect end to our night after a long day of hiking. The location was perfect - about 10 minutes from the park, the grocery store, and Bar Harbor. To improve future guests' stays, we would recommend the property owner to communicate through VRBO prior to the trip. We had several questions leading up to the trip that were not answered. Adding a fire pit to the back porch to make s’mores would be a huge plus. The upstairs showers were also difficult to operate. Reading the other reviews, we saw that other guests have had similar problems working the showers. Perhaps adding a laminated set of operating instructions on the vanities would be helpful for future guests. We also noticed the frying pans and the dutch oven were in poor condition and could use a thorough cleaning or be replaced entirely. Overall, we absolutely loved the house and would be so happy to stay here again next time we come up to Maine! We highly recommend this property to anyone looking to visit Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor!

Wonderful House

Amazing house outside of Bar Harbor. Easy access to Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf, Mainly Meat BBQ, Udder Heaven Ice Cream, Oceanarium and Diver Ed's Dive-in Theater without having to go through Bar Harbor proper (which meant not having to deal with summer traffic jams). If you like to cook, the house has everything you need from oils/spices to various pans/dishes. Beds are very comfortable. Heat pumps provided lovely ac for the downstairs (never turned on the upstair option as windows/ceiling fans did the trick). Surprised to find a basketball hoop which was a huge hit with the kids. Figuring out how to make the showers work (pull down on the inside of the water spout) took a day. Hot tub was wonderful to enjoy at the end of the day. Closest entrance to Acadia is the Hulls Cove Visitor Center. Although there are a few houses nearby, never heard a peep from anyone. Having the lobsters delivered to the house was a treat. Perfect base for a Bar Harbor/Acadia vacation!
