**5/5 AMAZING AMAZING HOUSE!! The pics are exactly as is!! I would come back just to stay in this beautiful house! Thank you, thank you!! The basement is simply FANTASTIC for kids!!!**

This beautiful log home sits at 3900' and has 180 degree views of Grandfather Mountain and the surrounding area. Ample parking for 5-6 cars is provided in the flat, gravel parking lot. A short staircase raises to the main level with 8 steps. An even shorter staircase is on the left side of the home gives even easier access once you are there. Inside, you'll find a kitchen with granite counters, stainless steel appliances, and a bar with seating for four. The custom built dining table comfortably holds eight. The open great room has a gas log fireplace, leather seating, and a TV with an Amazon Firestick. Fiber internet through Skybest means you'll never have any trouble streaming your favourite movies. The queen suite has deck access, a ceiling fan, TV, and a private bath with a tiled tub/shower combo. Also on the main level are the laundry center off of the kitchen and a half bath.

Upstairs is a reading nook in the loft. There are two bedrooms with a shared full bath in the hallway. Each bedroom has a queen bed and a ceiling fan. The bathroom has a tub/shower combo. All of the bathrooms in the home have heated floors.

Downstairs is a den with a second TV and Amazon Firestick, seating, and a new pool table. The fourth bedroom is here, with a king bed plus a twin over twin bunk and a TV. The full bath in the hallway has a shower and a large soaking tub.

On the main level deck is a gas grill and picnic table for dining with a view. The deck wraps around to the stairs that lead you to the newly installed fire pit. The lower patio has a 7 person hot tub and a bar area for a glass of wine while enjoying the outdoors.

Located between Boone and Banner Elk in the quiet community of Seven Devils, this home is convenient to every High Country attraction. It is just minutes away from Hawksnest Resort, Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, Appalachian State University, 3 major ski resorts, Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Caverns, hiking, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and hundreds of unique shopping and dining establishments.

Important Notes:
- This home does not accept pets. Please do not bring animals to this home.
- Weekends are available for the same nightly rate as weekdays.
-Check In is after 4pm. Check Out is by 10am.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement. Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking, or by calling us with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a firestarter for $25 plus tax.
- CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 30+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 15-29 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. Spectacular View

We loved the location of the house. We have stayed in multiple locations in Watauga County and Seven Devils is centrally located to skiing, Boone and everything in between. The roads are easy to navigate. The view from the house is SPECTACULAR and the wrap around deck is lovely. The hot tub was great and the fire pit was great as well. Unfortunately, the house itself could use some TLC. We rent several homes a year all around the country so we're familiar with what a rental home should have. Upon arrival, the house didn't seem like it had been checked before our arrival, surfaces and floors were dusty. I had to sweep and vacuum the floors and wipe down surfaces upon arrival . The beds were super uncomfortable and the linens are absolutely terrible. The closets should be cleaned out and not have remnants of random items in it.. feels dirty. The heated floors in bathrooms were great. The kitchen and laundry room could use a good cleaning out and replacement of some essential items( silverware is a jumbled up mess and looked dirty, cooking utensils looked super worn, pans were not desirable to use. There isn't one cabinet left open to use as a pantry to store groceries, I had to make space in the cabinet to left of fridge. If the kitchen was re-worked and organized it would have a more welcoming feel and encourage guests to take better care of the place. The kitchen sink nozzle doesn't work well and needs replacing. The laundry room had random items all over the shelf and the lint trap was missing from dryer. We would love to stay here again if some of these items were addressed. It is a great house and the location is top notch... It just needs someone to give it some TLC and updating.

Beautiful location, home needs some TLC

We had an amazing trip to the Boone/Blowing Rock area. The home’s location we convenient to everything we wanted to do like hike, fish and eat fantastic food. We were disappointed, however, in the condition of the home. Every dish we used had to be scrubbed and there was a general feeling of everything being dirty (including the sheets in the master bedroom). With a little more care and upgraded amenities this could be an ideal vacation spot.

Great family house!

My family, my sister and her family, and my parents all rented the house for a weekend in the mountains. It was a great place for our group of 11 (with five kids). The kids had their space where they could play, sleep and be loud downstairs while the adults could hangout on the main floor. It was super close to Hawksnest for tubing and about 20 minutes from Boone for great restaurants. One small drawback was the bedding, not most comfortable mattresses. But all-in-all, a great place for a great family stay!!!

Great Home and Location

We really enjoyed staying at this property. The home is spacious and the views are amazing. The hot tub was perfect. The only issue was the heat inside the home. The first floor master bedroom and upstairs bedrooms got very hot at night, and the downstairs bedroom was very cold.
