Welcome to Overlook Estate in The Farm of Banner Elk!
This luxurious six-bedroom home in The Farms of Banner Elk has everything one could ask for in a home. Enter to the views of the mountains, surrounded by leather seating in the great room dominated by a stunning wood burning fireplace. The chef's kitchen has plentiful granite countertops and is fully stocked. The prep sink makes for easy clean up! The West wing has a king suite, with smart TV, deck access and a private bath. The East wing has a King bed with smart TV and a private door to the full bathroom. This bath has a tiled shower, granite counters, and also opens to the hallway.
The upper level features a spacious gaming loft with pool table and a wet bar. There is seating for others to spread out. The bedroom suite has a tiled shower and a beautiful, wooden vessel sink. There is a queen bed plus a daybed in this bedroom.
On the lower level, you'll find three proper bedrooms and a nook with built in twin over twin bunks. The West king suite has a shower, double jacuzzi tub, and double granite vanities. The East has another king bed with smart TV and a bedroom with a queen and two twin beds. They share a bathroom with a tiled shower and wooden counters with bowl vessels. The second great room offers deck access, plus a foosball and air hockey table.
On the main level decks, enjoy the beautiful valley views in the hot tub. A new gas grill is also there to cook your favorite meal.
Guests returning to Overlook Estate may receive a discount of 10%, not to be combined with any other discounts to the room rate.
Important Notes:
-Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided.
- Check in is after 4pm and Checkout is by 10am
- Please note that the distances shown on VRBO's map feature are measured in a straight line rather than actual road travel distances and times. We cannot change their setting for this, and encourage all guests to independently verify distances to desired destinations.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.

- This homeowner uses three exterior security cameras to monitor the home and ensure it remains safe. One is a doorbell cam, another is on the front of the garage facing the driveway and the third is on the front of the home facing the driveway.
-CANCELLATION POLICY: Bookings canceled within 24 hours of their creation will receive a full refund of payments. Bookings canceled more than 24 hours after their creation are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
