Our home is 5 bdrm / 4.5ba with plenty of space for large or multiple families, including canine family members. There are 3 king suites with private baths, 1 queen room, & 1 room with 2 twins. There is even a dedicated office, ideal for remote work.

A large fenced-in yard firepit, game room, & basketball hoop provide plenty of on-site entertainment.

Grand Escape is situated perfectly between Boone, Blowing Rock, & Banner Elk. Be walking the streets of downtown Boone or skiing the slopes at Sugar Mt Ski Resort in less than 15min. The Blue Ridge Parkway is 15min away, and downtown Blowing Rock and the amazing trails at Moses Cone National Park are less than 20 minutes in the car. Wrap up the day at Grandfather Winery, just 3 minutes from the house. **Ask about our concierge services. Let us stock the house for your arrival.

OUR SPRING BREAK

We all had a great time. Love this area of North Carolina. Just had an issue with the cleaning crew. We arrived about 15 minutes before check in and the cleaning crew was still there. Since we were slightly early we drove around the area and came back at check in time. We waited for about 20 minutes for them to leave and finally went into the house. We were told that they still needed to finish vacuuming and to scrub the floors. We looked around told them to just finish vacuuming and not to scrub the floors as they didn't look bad. We wanted to get unloaded as a storm was on its way. Finally 50 minutes after check in time, they left. We found several counters were not wiped down in the kitchen and the refrigerator/freezer was not cleaned. Not the owners fault, but an inconvenience to us. The rest of the cabin was in excellent condition. Yes, I would recommend this cabin.

Perfect family get away

Loved it! Awesome House!

This house in Foscoe has a great location and is just perfect for a large gathering. Appliances, beds, sheets, cleanliness and everything else I can think of, was as close to perfect as any house I have rented. There is enough room for all, even if every bed is filled. The location has so many sites within minutes that we would have needed months to see them all. The owner was very responsive to our only question. Very happy customer and will be back.

Family vacation

We enjoyed the porch, fire pit, and fenced in yard. We cooked in each night and the kitchen was well equipped for this. The gas grill worked well. After dinner we enjoyed the game room. The house was perfect for us!

It doesn't get any better

Perfect huge house with everything you could need. It was our last stop in a 33 day journey around the country and was a 9th VRBO rental we used during the trip. It was the best way to end our journey as it was the best rental we had by a large margin. We even extended our trip two extra nights and the owner was very responsive and helpful in the process. The beds were great and even though the four of us like different degrees of soft versus firm we were all happy. All the game tables were in perfect working condition as was everything in the house. If we are ever in the area again we would absolutely rent this house again. We all loved it.

Spacious and Comfortable House with Great Views

Our family enjoyed our one week stay at this 5-BR home near Boone, Banner Elk, and Sugar Mountain. We were able to enjoy activities or just relaxing in the spacious home with a great kitchen and living areas. I especially loved the view from the porch and having morning coffee overlooking the mountains. Great vacation!

Family get together

We rented this house for a family get together with our three sons and their spouses and my infant grandbaby. The house had the PERFECT setup to accommodate all of us comfortably. The house was well equipped, very clean and easy to find. Location was convenient to everything. We had a wonderful stay and are looking at making this our annual tradition. Thank you Emily. Spacious Home Perfect for a Group!

We had a wonderful stay! It was wonderfully spacious with lots of room for a large group. Very clean, well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, great outdoor space with a firepit for s'mores, close to Boone! Can't wait to come back someday!

Fantastic House

I only wish we could have stayed longer! Huge, spacious and gorgeous home. Plenty of parking! We each had our own king suite and our golden loved his freedom in the spacious fenced yard. Hosts were quick to respond and very accommodating! We tried to book for later travel, but unfortunately our dates were already taken. Thank you for a lovely weekend at your property. Ample room inside and out

This was an awesome house! Going with friends it was wonderful to have 3 master bedrooms and en-suite bath so nobody had to make a sacrifice to comfort. The interior space is massive and allowed the kids to have fun in one section and us adults have quiet in another or sit on the large deck overlooking the fully fenced yard where dogs can safely play. We will for sure be back!
