Located atop Beech Mountain, less than one mile from Beech Mountain Resort, Village With a View awaits your next mountain vacation. Beech Mountain Resort offers outdoor adventure year-round. Enjoy your favorite outdoor sport in the winter, including skiing, snowboarding, and ice skating. Summer activities include mountain biking trails, hiking, and a disc golf course. Buckeye Recreation Center, located four miles away, features a large lake with fishing, kayaking, and paddle boating. It has a large covered pavilion with grills and picnic tables overlooking Buckeye Lake. The recreation center offers basketball, volleyball, tennis, fitness equipment, and more. Multiple hiking trails, including Lower Pond Creek Trail and Sassafras Trail, are only a few miles from Village With a View. The quaint town of Banner Elk is fifteen minutes down the mountain and hosts Lees-McRae College. It offers local dining, shopping, breweries, wineries, and parks.

Village With a View is a charming cottage with a main level that boasts an open floor plan characterized by tongue-and-groove vaulted ceilings with exposed beams. Comfortable sofas arranged around the Smart TV, set up for guests to log in to personal streaming accounts, offer a cozy spot to enjoy company. A comfortable sitting area at the gas fireplace is perfect for curling up with a good book or conversation. Guests of all ages will enjoy a friendly game at the foosball table. Accessed from the living room, the back deck features an outdoor dining where you can enjoy a home-cooked meal while marveling at the expansive mountain views. Relax on the chaise lounges, or grill a steak and fresh vegetables on the gas grill. Hardwood floors extend through the main level, connecting the living room to the dining area, with seating for eight guests. The dining area also has access to the back deck. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and plenty of counter space for dinner prep. The lower deck is home to the hot tub, the perfect place to relax after a day of skiing or hiking. Take in the fresh mountain air while enjoying the mountain views.

Village With a View can accommodate up to eight guests in four bedrooms on the lower level. The master bedroom features a king bed, a Smart TV, a desk with a monitor, and access to the back deck. It has an attached Jack-N-Jill bathroom shared with the neighboring queen bedroom. An additional queen bedroom has a TV and access to the back deck and the hot tub. The fourth bedroom accommodates two in a twin daybed with a twin trundle. There is a full hallway bathroom for guests to use.

Additional amenities include WiFi, central heating and air on the lower level, mini-splits on the main level, a main floor powder room, and a washer and dryer. There is parking for two vehicles in the level gravel driveway. A short set of stairs accesses the house down from the parking area. Up to 2 dogs are allowed with an additional pet fee. During winter, guests should prepare for winter weather with AWD or 4WD and tire chains.

Guests with a reservation at Village With A View are eligible to apply for a membership transfer to the Beech Mountain Club (BMC) for the dates of the reservation.

BMC policies apply to a membership transfer. Please read the policy document carefully.
Upon booking, guests will receive an email with instructions, the BMC transfer policies, and the transfer application. The application must be submitted to the club by the guest at least 3 days prior to the transfer start date, which can be no sooner than your arrival date.
Please note BMC Policy 4a. : owners membership is limited to two transfers per month based on a first come first serve basis. It is recommended to submit your application as soon as possible. CCR is unable to inform inquiring guests if two transfers are already accepted in a calendar month. Guests will need to contact BMC for information.
A membership transfer fee starting at $300 is charged to the guest by BMC upon the start date of the membership transfer.
Memberships start at the social level. Guests may upgrade membership with additional fees paid to BMC (see the BMC website for what is included with each level).
