We picked a run-down cabin with amazing views & location to remodel into a comfy family retreat that we would love to share with you.
★Our home is nestled among mature Rosebay Rhododendrons & other trees, providing even more beauty and privacy from your treehouse-feeling perch on the side of a ridge overlooking Grandfather Mountain State Park, Moses H. Cone Memorial Park, Julian Price Memorial Park, The Blowing Rock, Grandfather Stables, & even some neighborhoods in the valley below us. Many animals may visit our home during your stay including: black bears, red foxes, wild turkeys, Hummingbirds Hawks & other birds, groundhogs, a bunny, & deer frequently come out to play at dawn & dusk.
★Visiting higher elevations in the mountains is peaceful, refreshing, exhilarating, & offers solitude, but our home is also in an upscale resort-like neighborhood, which offers quick accessibility to top attractions/wineries/restaurants/shopping, resort-like amenities such as pickleball, our own hiking trail, dog park, etc. & even access to paved roads with daily snow plowing/reliable utilities.
