Nestled in the rolling hills inland from Byron Bay, the Bangalow Barn is on the fringe of the stylish village of Bangalow. Itâs the perfect combination of country & coastal living and has been lovingly created from its original use as horse stables to now a relaxing destination. The convenience of many superb beaches, tourist attractions, cafes & restaurants right at your finger tips, the Bangalow Barn is a must visit for family/friends/couples or solo travellers wanting a luxury unique getaway!
The Bangalow Barn is constructed from the property`s original horse stables and is uniquely styled using recycled materials inside and out. Offering our guests the vision the owners had of a sustainable and eco-friendly oasis, but with all the luxury you desire while on your coastal getaway. 2 Bedrooms and living room are air conditioned and heated to allow you an extra level of comfort during your stay.
With a wide spacious decked yard overlooking Byron Creek and surrounding farmland, you can`t help but feel you are miles from civilisation. This is made all the more tranquil with your own private outdoor shower and two vintage claw foot bath tubs to use during your stay and not miss a moment to continue enjoying this slice of paradise. We also have a very luxurious indoor bathroom for guests to use as well.
While exploring the heavenly architecturally designed gardens, you can wander down the river stone steps and enjoy the private swimming hole from the freshwater of Byron Creek, supplied by the natural springs upstream. The perfect spot to finish a warm northern river`s day.
To add an extra level of luxury guests can indulge and recharge after a day of exploring the surrounding hinterland and beyond in our 3-person infrared sauna. You can then venture inside and relax by the french designed suspended rotating wood fireplace with a glass of wine or spend a beautiful evening by the rustic outdoor fire pit with unlimited firewood supplied.
Each room is equipped with its own ceiling fan, but with the beautiful open plan living, double insulated walls and roof the breeze offers ample eco-friendly cooling options for you during your stay.
The Bangalow Barnita which is situated next to the Barn is a handcrafted shipping container conversion. This unique tiny house is lined floor to ceiling with parquetry woodwork, allowing a seamless flow throughout. With its high-end custom finish, quality appliances, super soft linen, and splashes of colour in amongst the rustic decor, The Bangalow Barnita is luxury on every level. There is a separate ensuite and kitchenette so you can enjoy access to indoor/outdoor living. With a movable dining table, you can enjoy a cosy dinner inside work away on the undercover outdoor deck. The sub-tropic climate of the area allows you to enjoy endless hours relaxing on the expansive deck on the moveable day bed or one of the two hanging chairs. The most difficult decision you will have is leaving this hidden oasis you get to call all yours during your stay. The antique footed bathtub on the outdoor deck adds another level of luxury to this unique space. The perfect spot to enjoy a cool drink in the summer or a lovely glass of wine in the winter.
We are `Super Pet friendly`
We do request guests to obtain permission when making your booking and confirm how many fur babies are travelling with you. There is an additional fee for cleaning if your request is approved. The host has the right to cancel the booking if approval for the pet isnât obtained prior.
We ask STRICTLY NO pets on furniture or beds. If breached an extra cleaning fee will apply.
Children:
While we do accept bookings with children we however do not have cots, high chairs etc supplied but can organise a local source to hire if necessary!

- Private spring fed river for swimming
- BBQ
- Fire Pit with seating
- Decked area overlooking farm land and Byron Creek
- Infrared sauna (3 person)
- Fully equipped kitchen
- 2 Smart TV`s
- Starlink Wifi
- ErgoFocus Suspended Rotating wood fire place
- Ample off street parking
- Unlimited firewood
- Beach Towels supplied
- Kitchen is supplied with oil, dried herbs and condiments

As this is located in a rural setting neighbours are located at a distance allowing our guests a very private and quiet stay.
- The town center of Bangalow is only a leisurely 1km walk from the property.
- Byron Bay is a short 10min drive through the surrounding hinterland to the cafes, restaurants and local beaches surrounding Byron.
- Lennox Head 22km drive
- Coolangatta Airport 50min drive on the M1
- Ballina Airport - 15min on the M1

- No visitors (No persons who are not a registered guest are to enter the Barn at any time, unless permission is obtained from the host.)
- No pets on furniture or beds. If breached extra cleaning fee will apply.
- Pets are to be kept under control or on leash unless in fenced in yard at all times.
- Pets must be approved when booking otherwise host has the write to cancel your booking at any stage
- Strictly no outside noise after 10pm
STRICTLY:
- No parties, events, gatherings, elopements, weddings
- No visitors (No people who are not registered guests to enter the house at any time, unless obtained permission from the host.)
- No pets to be left UNATTENDED at ANY TIME. - No pets on furniture or beds. If breached extra cleaning fee will apply.
- NO smoking on the property at any time.
- Pets are to be kept under control or on leash unless in a fenced-in yard at all times.
- Due to our rural setting we may have insects and animals in and around the property. We do all we can reduce and remove these, but due to the Australian environment this is somewhat out of our control.
- Due to our rural setting there can be disruption to Starlink and services to the house. We do all we can to have this running at full capacity at all times during your stay.
Breach of these rules will result in immediate dismissal from the property and loss of any booking remaining.
Please be sure to check for all personal belongings prior to checking out. Any belongings left behind will not be our responsibility.
