We welcome you to stay in Hathaway Cottage, our charming and quintessentially English home in the Oxfordshire village of Hook Norton, situated just on the boundary of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty!

As you walk into the cottage, you will be instantly welcomed by our beautiful kitchen and living area, offering cosy and light spaces to relax in. The living room also boasts a beautiful fireplace and comfy seating. The idyllic setting for cosying up with a good book or a long-overdue catch up!

Our kitchen is fully equipped, so if you`re looking for a romantic night cooking together or rustling up a big breakfast after a great evening in the local pub, you`ll have all the basics you need!

Upstairs, we then have our double bedroom, the perfect space for resting up after a busy day of exploring the local area (or a long lie in!), and a lovely bathroom with a bathtub!

Outside we have a beautiful courtyard with outdoor seating to soak in the sun with your morning coffee, or an ice-cold drink on a warm evening.

You will not be stuck for things to eat and drink in the village, with its still-operating Victorian brewery (Hook Norton Brewery), The Pear Tree Inn Pub and The Sun Inn Pub but we also have nearby market towns just a short drive away, including Shipston-on-Stour, Banbury and Chipping Norton.

We are also only a short 20 minute drive from Soho Farmhouse, Cotswolds Distillery, Daylesford Organic Farmshop, Diddly Squat Farm and Bamford Wellness Spa and 40 minutes away from Silverstone race track & Bicester Village Designer Shopping Outlet.

Please note:
We verify your details before your booking can begin and this must be completed 48 hours prior to your stay. You’ll receive a secure link to our deposit, damage waiver and ID verification platform to complete this step. You’ll be given the choice between paying a fully refundable £300 deposit (with a small, non-refundable £4.70 fee for UK cards or £9.00 for international cards) or purchasing a non-refundable £30 damage waiver, which protects you against accidental damage up to £300 during your stay. Check-in information will only be sent once this is completed.

• Please respect the noise curfew of 10pm.
• Please respect check-in and check-out times.
• Please take extra care of your keys. Lost keys incur a replacement fee of £75.
• Please take care of the furnishings. You have to pay for damages that exceed the security deposit.
• Please don’t rearrange the furniture.
• Please do your dishes.
• Please take the rubbish out before you leave.
• Please do not attempt to play the piano without prior permission.
