Local activities include fishing, golf, pony trekking, Connemara smokehouse and lots more. Local attractions include the Wild Atlantic Way Discovery Point at Derrygimlagh which includes a 5km interactive looped walk around the Marconi Wireless Station and the landing site of Alcock & Brown, and the ruins of the Pirate Queen Grainne Mhaol's castle can be seen close to Connemara Golf Club, both less than a 10 minute drive away. Access to the Mannin Bay Blueway is located by the Coral Strand Beach, a popular spot for swimmers, kayakers, and coastal snorkelling.

Ground floor accommodation: The kitchen is very well equipped with all necessary equipment including dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, American style fridge-freezer and dining table and chairs. There is also a large dining room area with comfortable couch. Off the dining room is a sitting room with comfortable chairs, electric fireplace, and flat screen multi-channel TV. The utility room houses the washer and dryer. Along the downstairs hallway are 2 bedrooms. There is 1 large king size bedroom and 1 double bedroom, both with wooden furniture and flat screen multi-channel TV's. Both ground floor bedrooms include en-suite bathrooms with shower, WC, and basin.
Upstairs: The upper level of the house has an additional 3 bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms with shower, WC, and basin. There is a large family bedroom with a King bed and 3 single beds, a double bedroom, and the third bedroom on the upper level has a double bed and a single bed. All bedrooms are well furnished with wooden furniture and flat screen multi-channel TV's. The outside of the property offers parking at the rear, and a patio area with garden furniture and BBQ for guests use to the front. Linens and towels are provided.
