Ce 2350 pieds carrĂ©s maison de deux niveaux Ă  une altitude de 980 pi. sur 43 acres offre deux chambres spacieuses au deuxiĂšme niveau avec leurs propres escaliers privĂ©s. Fabuleux plafonds en bois, ventilateurs de plafond, de grandes fenĂȘtres pour une vue imprenable et des brises fraĂźches. Chaque chambre peut accueillir 2 personnes.

Level One propose deux salles de bains complĂštes, une douche extĂ©rieure supplĂ©mentaire, une cuisine ouverte, un coin repas et salon avec vue sur la jungle au nord et sur l’ocĂ©an au sud.

Tout nichĂ© dans la vie quotidienne de la jungle oĂč la canopĂ©e quotidienne visage et hurleur blanc de faire le singe exĂ©cute seulement verges haut dans les arbres. Toucans, perroquets et faucons sont parmi les nombreux oiseaux que vous verrez sans avoir Ă  passer d'une balançoire de dĂ©tente dans l'un des 3 hamacs.

L'eau chaude, l'électricité et wi-fi.

Les lampes solaires qui bordent la route intérieure immaculée qui traverse la propriété pour 1/2 kilomÚtre. Qui offrent des promenades tranquilles à travers 43 acres.

Des sentiers pĂ©destres pour les plus aventuriers qui veulent entrer dans la jungle sans avoir Ă  trouver leur propre chemin. Les sentiers vous mĂšneront Ă  une riviĂšre dans une direction et les ruisseaux avec l'eau de la piscine et les chutes dans un autre. Bien que la suppression de votre propre chef, sur cette 43 acres propriĂ©tĂ© privĂ©e, peut ĂȘtre quelques-unes des excursions plus fines qu'on peut faire.

Cette propriété est fermée et a un gardien sur place 24/7 à l'entrée.

Le service de blanchisserie est disponible à 7 $ par charge. Déposer à 8a. m. et il sera rendu le lendemain matin. Si vous avez besoin d'un service accéléré, faites-le nous savoir.

Merveilleux sejour

Cet endroit est magnifique. On ne peut etre plus pres de la nature. Magnifique accueil. Bien que la piscine soit petite, cest parfait pour se rafraichir lors des journees chaudes. Ca prend vraiment un 4x4 pour s'y rendre. Je vous recommande grandement cet endroit

Wow!...I can not say enough about this property, the owners and the experience we had. The owners are simply just beautiful people who are beyond helpful and go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect. Any info you need or help with planning and they are on it making everything easy. The place itself and the location are simply magical. You are completely private nestled in the rainforest with incredible views of the coast and just as everyone says photos just don't compare to being there. Everyday the birds and wildlife were abundant. Howler monkeys and White Faced monkeys taking turns coming to visit right at your door. Various exotic birds, Toucans of different varieties, and animals such as the Coati and Agouti's passing by. There is also 2 private trails that go to pretty creeks and one even has a waterfall and you have this all to yourself. The area of Uvita is fun and the people are always friendly. You will not find a more pleasant and adventurous place to stay in Costa Rica. Thank You so much for this experience!

Private Pacific Panorama

We arrived a Finca Khan and were greeted by Lori and Bobby, our hosts. Over the course of our one week stay, they were very helpful with any questions we had, whether it was about the home or with questions about the area. The view of the valley and ocean from the open air living/kitchen space is stunning, with varieties of tropical birds and butterflies everyday. We liked relaxing at the house much of the time, so having the dipping pool was nice for cooling off. The property was fun to explore, and there are even paths down to the forest floor river bed. The upstairs of the house is basically set in the canopy of primary forest jungle. The howler monkeys were heard each morning, but we didn't see them without binoculars. We saw the troop of capuchin monkeys once as they swung through trees behind the house. The upstairs bedrooms and the two downstairs bathrooms are all enclosed. We kept the windows open at night for nice air circulation. Since the property is gated, we felt quite safe. The bedroom doors can be locked, and even the refrigerators have locks in case hungry critters are looking for a snack. The kitchen has everything we needed for cooking. There was a pretty heavy rainstorm during our stay, and the electricity went out. We had brought our own flashlights, but there are also flashlights at the house and an umbrella to use. We would definitely recommend this house and would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thanks, Lori and Bobby!

Total Jungle Immersion

If you are seeking a stay away from reality and the opportunity to disconnect, look no further. We were awaken by monkeys nearly every morning. If you're a bird watcher, you don't have to go anywhere, simply sit in the open air living room and birds are 360 degrees around you. The nature trails on the property are secluded and dense. Make sure you have 4 wheel drive, the property is pretty far up a steep gravel road.

Living with nature

My fiancé and I had a wonderful 3 nights here. The property is gorgeous and so are the views. Lori is an amazing host and helped us with all of our needs. One of the many things that we loved, was the fact that the pool was cold. The weather was extremely hot while we were in Costa Rica and this was the ONLY place we stayed that had a cold pool. I highly recommend ordering the in-house prepared meals. The food was absolutely delicious. We love it so much there, that my now fiancé proposed to me during our stay.

Amazing Property in a Beautiful Location

Elevated high above Uvita, the property extended views into both the Jungle and the Pacific Ocean below. The facilities were good and it provided us an excellent platform to explore the surrounding area. Lori was pleasant to deal with, provided good information to get there and the facilities in the local area. Note - 4x4 is a must! We hired a local guide in Uvita and were shown Sloths, Monkeys, Cayman, Macaws and a Tree Boa (Snake)! Definitely recommend this and a Whale/ Dolphin Tour. Local restaurants/ bars are good. Particularly enjoyed the Craft pub 'Uvita Beer Garden' situated off the road on the way up to the house. Also, recommend heading right out of the property, up the hill and take in sunset across the Ocean - Stunning!

Pura Vida!

Finka Khan was one of the most beautiful properties I have ever stayed at. The open air concept overlooking the ocean, in the middle of the rain forest
perfection. We saw so many beautiful birds. The hiking trails were well maintained. The location was close enough to town that you could drive to restaurants/markets. As noted by the host, you will need a 4x4.

A piece of paradise in the jungle

We had the most amazing stay at this jungle retreat. Everything was as depicted. It was peaceful, beautiful, comfortable and frankly a piece of heaven on earth. We enjoyed the open concept, wildlife sights and sounds. Toucans, monkeys, blue morpho butterflies and more. My husband, daughter and I did not want to leave. Beautiful views, private and safe setting. Lori was quick to respond to any questions or needs before and during our stay. She had excellent recommendations for things to do and places to eat. We were sad to leave but hope to return someday. Thanks for a great stay!

Just perfect!

We so enjoyed our stay at Finca Kahn! The house is a dream nestled in the mountains with a water view on one side and the other up against the jungle. Lori and Bobby, the hosts were great! I would recommend this house to anyone! Pura vida!

Great for birding but not for staying cool

This place is a birding paradise. But if you don’t like the heat or are sensitive with insects, I don’t think you would enjoy it. I must have missed the fact that there was no AC so it was difficult to cool down. The first floor of the house could use a big fan. The fact that all the cabinets and frig needed to be locked was inconvenient for cooking. The kitchen could use a peeler and a strainer. The driveway is very loud when others drive by. It was an experience in true outdoor Tico living!

Uvita! Miss you already!

We began our Costa Rican stay in Uvita. Could have easily been our only stay. Small town charm and lots to see. The ride up to the property is intimidating, but Lori met us at the bottom and guided us up. Shortly, I was a pro. Didn't even use 4wd the remainder of the trip! The home is amazing! Best way to connect with the rain forest. Everything you need is there. The pool was disappointing, more like a large bathtub. We never used it, but it was pretty with the lights on! Uvita is where I'll return when I revisit!

Amazing getaway!

We spent a little over a week here and loved every minute of it! Lori was absolutely incredible with everything, she helped us book some of our activities, gave us pointers on what to do in the area. The house was fantastic, the views spectacular and all of the animals that showed up to the house made it that much better! We were constantly entertained and will definitely be back!

Unique Rainforest House

My family, my wife and 12-year-old daughter and her friend, enjoyed this unique house. If you are looking for a unique experience, this house will not disappoint. Lori and Bobby are great hosts and freely provide a myriad of suggested activities in and around the property and area. The open kitchen on the ground floor is spectacular, allowing for meals to be prepared and consumed while enjoying the sights and sounds of the rainforest. Yes, an occasional insect will fly into this open air space but that too is the beauty of the experience. Being situated some 1000 feet above sea level, the air remained rather cool but damp. The two fully enclosed bedrooms "upstairs" allowed for a comfortable night's sleep with only the ceiling fan on. Air conditioning at this altitude was not a necessity and coolness provided our family with a brief respite from the heat of the coast. The small dipping pool was fun for the girls and provided hours of entertainment for us all, particularly in the evening with the pool lights on. The wifi was spotty at best and although all of our devices had a high signal strength from the local access point, we could not obtain a consistent connection in any of our four devices. This was only important insofar as we were unable to complete COVID documentations and scheduling requirements in preparation for our departure. Overall, a wonderful place!! Highly recommended for those looking for a unique accommodation situated in a rainforest. NOTE: As others have stated, a 4WD vehicle is a must to get this property.

Beautiful remote getaway to fully unplug

We had a lovely time. It's a great place to completely unplug from the rest of the world. We had anticipated having a stable WiFi connection at the house though, and the WiFi didn't work (so weak it couldn't send a text). I wish we had known this in advance, we would have planned accordingly. If you're hoping to find a place to disconnect from the world, this is a great option. But if you need to be connected for work or travel planning, that might be difficult at this property.

If you want to disconnect this is the place. It's located on the mountain with gorgeous view and pretty close to the town. Very safe place and Lori and Bobby is always available to help and very knowledgeable about the area.

Our first night there we were attacked by fleas, I reached out and she asked if we wanted her to bring us some bug spray. The next morning there were roaches everywhere, we packed up and left immediately. We have stayed in this area many times and have never experienced this before.

Wonderful secluded jungle house

The property is lovely. You are surrounded by jungle with a gorgeous view of the ocean just as depicted. As stated previously the howler monkeys are loud and disconcerting until you know what all the ruckus is about. LOL the property is immaculate. Lori and Bobby are wonderful hosts and truly went above and beyond. The only drawbacks were the steep,windy dirt road which was further than anticipated no problem if you don't plan to run around much. The outdoor stairs to the bathroom are a challenge at night but if you sleep all night not a problem, unfortunately I am up 2-3x a night. All in all a wonderful relaxing place especially since we were here in the hottest month.
