A warm cosy, well equipped cottage centrally located in the famous bustling market town of Bakewell in the heart of the Peak District National Park. The cottage offers everything you need for either a few days away to enjoy Derbyshire or a longer visit. Enjoy this perfect base for walking, visiting historical stately homes including the treasure that is Chatsworth house and the beautiful Haddon Hall, or just simply relax and enjoy the endless unspoiled countryside of The Peak District.



Knowsley sleeps up to 6 people, there are 3 bedrooms. The first bedroom has a king size bed, bed side tables, double wardrobe, dressing table and TV. The second and third have double beds, wardrobes, and bedside tables and TV’s.



The accommodation is over two floors. Fully equipped with free Wi-Fi, the kitchen has a washing machine/ dryer, dishwasher, wine cooler, iron and ironing board. The living room has a Gas fire, a Smart TV with connection for Netflix account. Upon your arrival you will find your stay starter pack, with the essentials to begin your holiday – loaf of bread, tea, coffee, pint of milk, sugar, toilet rolls and kitchen roll. 1 Bathroom with power shower above the bath, hand basin, toilet and heated towel rail. Soft towels provided.



We welcome children too, but please contact us first so we can explain what we do and don`t provide.



Strictly NO SMOKING allowed in the cottage.



We love dogs. Well behaved dogs are very welcome, but we would like to keep it at no more than 2 small dogs, due to the cottage being small, we want them to be comfortable too! If you have any queries, please ask. Dogs aren’t allowed upstairs, or on the furniture. We also ask that fur be kept to minimum with the vacuum cleaner provided.



You will be within 100 yards of Bakewell town center, explore the many shops, Cafes, restaurants.



With one free parking space available on the property, with a Fast EV Charger on the drive (7.2Kw, Type 2). However there is ample pay and display parking in the town center. please message us if you want the EV charger enabling (we do this remotely).

We do ask that you park to the right hand side of the white line on the drive, to give our neighbours room for access to the rear of their properties thank you.



We are only a short distance away, you will find our contact details within the property for any queries or issues you may have. we provide a smart lock box system for self check in.

Local bus services available to neighbouring villages. Local amenities 100 yards away in the town centre.
