Tucked in one of the prettiest corners of the Peak District, it sits just moments from the gentle flow of the River Wye and the tempting aroma of the townâs famous pudding shop. Step outside and you are within 500 metres of cosy cafĂ©s, welcoming pubs, and charming independent boutiques, making it easy to enjoy relaxed days close to home. Wander along the riverside for views of Bakewellâs old stone bridge, its church, and the soft hills beyond, or set off on scenic walks to Ashford-in-the-Water, 1.5 miles away, and Monsal Head, 2.5 miles away. For a touch of grandeur, Chatsworth House lies only 3 miles away, with Haddon Hall at 2 miles. With beauty in every direction, this cottage promises a gentle, memorable escape.
