If what matters most is spending time together in a beautiful, serene location far from everyday troubles, pack your bags, and invite your significant other, another couple or a couple of friends, to join you for some R & R in our modern Door County cottage. The quiet wooded retreat awaits: custom-built, elegant living space, warm hospitality, with stylish designer amenities and all the comforts of home.

The Home
We'll provide everything you'll need for a pleasant and relaxing stay.
First floor: king bedroom, open kitchen / living area, bathroom and laundry room
Upstairs: a second king bedroom
* Tastefully decorated interior
* Soaring vaulted ceilings allow the sunlight to flood the main living area
* Bluetooth speakers
* Double patio doors that lead to the outdoors
* Large sundeck overlooking the woods for either dining or relaxing outdoors
* Amenities and thoughtful touches that show we truly care about the comfort and quality of your stay
This makes for the perfect Door County hideaway for a couple, a small family or a solo adventurer.

The Location
Located 1.7 miles from downtown Bailey's Harbor, enjoy a popular destination on the "quiet side" of the peninsula along the shores of Lake Michigan.
* Set in the sleepy woods just outside of Bailey's Harbor
* Three minute car ride, thirty minute walk or five minute bike ride takes you into town to visit :
Cana Island Lighthouse, hike at the Ridges Sanctuary, the village park, marina, beach, boutiques, restaurants, brewery, winery, bike/kayak rentals, ice cream / coffee shops, Sunday farmer's market and more.
* Centrally located on the peninsula making visits to all of Door County's most popular little towns: Sister Bay, Ephraim, Fish Creek, and Egg Harbor all within a short drive (5-15 min).

The Comfort, Safety & Security

* Keyless door (Each guest is issued a unique code that is only valid during their stay)

* Security camera monitors activity in the driveway.

* We are a PET FREE property.
* Max Occupancy is 4 people / 2 cars per our permit with the village of Bailey's Harbor.
* There is a 2nd dwelling on the property that is occasionally occupied by the owner.
* We extend a warm welcome to all guests in our home. Please do not attempt to violate the basic house rules related to: occupancy, pets, smoking or parties etc. and put us all in an uncomfortable position. If you have a question about house rules please ask.

The property itself was fantastic and incredibly well equipped We especially appreciated that the kitchen was so well-stocked, making it easy for us to settle in and cook a full meal on our first night.The host was exceptionally thoughtful and provided a wealth of local resources, including excellent recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area. This truly enhanced our experience.Beyond the great amenities, the setting was simply beautiful. Visiting in the fall, the stunning backdrop of colorful trees made the entire stay feel like a perfect retreat. We highly recommend this property!

This may be cleanist and best appointed rental we have had in all our travels. We loved the wooded quiet setting too. Great host n strong communicator that was available for a few minor clarifications. Will go back!

We had a wonderful stay this weekend! The property was perfect and beautiful—exactly what we needed for a relaxing mini honeymoon. It was well-equipped with everything we could ask for, and I especially loved the built-in wall speakers, such a great touch. The area was peaceful and calm, which made our time there even more enjoyable. The host was nice and did a great job with communication. The only thing to note is that there is another house right next to the property, so it wasn’t as private as we initially thought. Overall, though, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it!

The Red Cherry Woods Cottage was the perfect place for us to stay for a weeklong trip to Door County. The cottage is modern, nicely decorated, comfortable and had everything we needed for the week. Our 2 kids loved sleeping in the upstairs loft and my husband and I slept well on our King bed. We loved the automatic shades and beautiful wooded view from our bed! We grilled one night and sat on the patio, which was so relaxing. We cooked breakfast at the cottage every morning, which was so convenient. If you are looking for a modern, clean (and so cute) cottage in a quiet spot, but just a 10-15 min drive to Door County towns, this is your place!

Our experience at this cozy little home away from home had it all!!! We loved the location mainly because we could get to all of Door County within 15 minutes tops. The house was clean and stocked with all the amenities we could ever want. Very modern asthetics and comfortable beds for a great nights sleep !! The fire pit right outside the house was comfy for late night hangs!

Fabulous house in the trees

This was our first visit to Door County and we loved it. And Michelle's place was fabulous. It was perfect for us. It was better than the listing photos and was very well appointed. We really enjoyed the beautiful deck. Michelle was very responsive and provided us with many recommendations on places to go, shop and eat. The house was centrally located to several communities on both the lake side and the bay side. And we walked into Baileys Harbour sevral tmes (about a mile and a half). We can't say enough good about our stay and will be going back for more soon!
