Les points forts : PropretĂ© et infrastructures et conditions de lâhĂ©bergement
Les points faibles : Personnel et service et équipements
The place is nice and clean and thatâs what you should expect. The staff, but I should just say the owner, is another story. When I got there I asked at what time and where breakfast would be served. The owner seemed surprised and said that it wasnât included. It took me some long negotiations and me showing her the Hotels.com listing to convince her. When I asked her for wifi service, she said, contrary to the listing, that rooms didnât have wifi but there was a dedicated room for it âbecause the wifi waves hurt peopleâs healthâ. I could have argued about that claim, but let me just mention that a few feet from the roomâs windows there is a motocross racetrack: so wifi waves are bad but exhaust gases and noise pollution are good? The final straw was last night, when I was at a work dinner event and I arrived at 1:15am to the place. This morning I was slammed with a âŹ15 extra fee for my lateness, because my return hadnât been agreed upon prior to me leaving in the morning for Vinitaly, citing correctness and professionalism. This coming from an operator who reluctantly honors what she promises online, who misleadingly lists amenities that are far from XXI centuryâs standard, who arrogantly tries to impose her scientifically uncorroborated beliefs on adults, and who doesnât inform customers upon their arrival about the customs in place. The place was nice, but the owner should take a full-immersion course on modern-day hospitality management ASAP.
Not going back.
