Waterfront Home on Bulk-Headed Lot w/ Private Hot Tub, Sound View, Shared Pool

After a day of windsurfing or sailing, bring your boat home to Hatteras Colony's Pamlico Breeze. This superlative home is located on a huge, bulk-headed, waterfront lot with room for frisbee games or rigging in the grassy area. A convenient outdoor shower rounds out the ground level.

This home boasts single-level living, as well as an oversize screened deck where you can sit in the swing or relax in the private hot tub. With wonderful views of the sound and an open deck for sun worshipers, you'll find it easy to enjoy the gentle breezes. The living room affords plenty of space for everyone, whether you're watching a movie or talking about the last sail of the day. Prepare homemade meals in the kitchen, and enjoy them in a separate dining room with ample seating. The large primary suite has a king-size bed, a TV, a DVD player, and a private bathroom. The second bedroom features one queen bed, and the third offers two single beds. These two rooms share a full hallway bathroom. Bring your gear and sail away from the yard at Pamlico Breeze!

You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking, which will be sent to your email. You will not be able to check in until we have received your signature electronically. Please contact us directly if you do not receive this agreement.

Please Note: Guests have access to the Club Hatteras Pool Facility. Additional details around this facility will be shared in your check-in email and during the check-in process. The club is typically open mid-May to mid-October, depending on weather.

Excellent place for OBX family vacay!

This was awesome! Kayaking out every night right off the boat ramp. Be careful, the boat ramp is slimy and we watched a guy slip and crack his head. Get a crab pot, enjoy! Love this place. Great place for our family of 6!

Awesome house - great location

Enjoy the backyard views in this cozy beach house. The inside is more spacious than it looks like in the photos. The screened-in porch and hot tub were great for the rainy days. Bring your bikes and you are a 2 minute ride to any beach access.

The house is on one of the Avon canals but right at the edge of the sound for easy access to open water. The house is more spacious than expected, and having only one level is nice. It's also a short walk to the beach. We will consider this house again for our next vacation.

Pamlico breeze

Loved the classic beach cottage feel of this property! The stunning views of the sound from the house and catching the sunset by kayak were some of the best i've seen in 48 years. To be able to walk to the beach, restaurants, and ice-cream shop was an added bonus. Fishing off the bulkhead and crabbing off the dock, followed by a relaxing soak in the hot-tub rounded out this completely immersive outer banks experience! Will definitely stay here again!

Nice getaway

The house and location was great, we definitely took advantage of the water being at the back yard. I think the biggest complaints was that the house was not clean, and the main entry door was a nightmare to negotiate due to keys being very poorly cut.

very nice updates

updates were very nice, probably one of the nicest homes we have stayed at in avon so far. new fridge, gas oven/stove, dishwasher, microwave. showers were redone recently too. the only complaint we had was huge roaches. there wasn’t very many during our stay but there were a few, hate that.

Great Location

Location of property was great. Very spacious and comfortable. Only gripe is that the kitchen had no oven mitts, or kitchen towels. Also, the oven was so dirty, that every time we used it it would set off the smoke alarm. Some of the stove "Burners" didn't work either. The oven/stove either needs to be fixed and cleaned, or replaced.

Nice home. Could use some minor TLC

This was our second year in a row in this home. It’s quite a bit more specious than it looks from the outside. We like it because there is only one set of steps to go up unlike many homes that are multiple. It’s always clean and has everything you need for your stay. A couple of things this year that were a concern. The charcoal grill rusted off and was laying on the ground. We couldn’t use it. We also found one side of the railing on the small deck was very loose. We had to remind our kids to stay away or someone could lean on it too hard and fall off the deck. The main refrigerator was broken but the realty did have a spare in the house and functioning for our stay. However it was really small and we couldn’t put much in it. But it worked so no big deal. All in all, we love the home and for the price, it makes it a reasonable option for those that can’t or don’t want to spend the amount of money many of the houses there are commanding.
