Deux cuisines équipées. Parking inclus dans le prix de la location, à 5 minutes à pied.

Calme complet, car toutes les chambres donnent sur la cour privée. L'immeuble est situé dans le centre ville entre la place Saint-Didier and la Place des Corps-Saints. L'appartement possÚde 3 chambres. Il fait 130m2 et bénéficie d'une cour privée ombragée de 90m2. Il est climatisé (salon/salle à manger/cuisine/chambres). Les murs sont en pierres, les plafonds à la Française avec des poutres en bois, et le sol est en marbre. L'appartement a bénéficié d'une rénovation de grande qualité.

Il y a deux chambres et deux salons dans la partie principale. Une autre chambre avec cuisine et salle de douches est située dans la dépendance au fond de la cour. Il y a une cuisine à l'étage. 1 salle de bain, 2 salles de douche et 3 WC en tout.

The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 reception rooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 kitchens and large shaded garden. It is on the ground and first floor of four story building. There are three double beds.

Complete calm as all rooms overlook the private courtyard. The building is located in the city centre, between Place Saint-Didier and Place des Corps-Saints.

Wifi throughout, cable TV, all linen provided (sheets and towels). Washing machine and dryer.

Ideally located in the city center while being extremely quiet since all the rooms overlook the private courtyard.

Many quality shops are found in the same street (butcher, greengrocer, chocolates and restaurants) and Les Halles indoor market is a 5 minute walk. Carrefour Market supermarket (rue de la RĂ©publique) is also nearby.

A car is not needed to visit Avignon as all main sites can be visited on foot. If you do have a car, free access to public car park is included.

All the ingredients are here for a magical stay in the old Avignon while you enjoy the art of living in Provence.

Amazing house in the center of Avignon

We had a fantastic stay in Elizabeth and Robin’s home in Avignon. It is exactly as described, loads of shops and restaurants nearby, and perfect for a base to visit the surrounding villages and to explore this gorgeous countryside.

Perfect location

We stayed for nine (9) days and loved every minute of our time here. The apartment is situated close to everything within the walls of Avignon and entirely walkable. All that you may need to fix a meal or relax after a long day is here in this spacious and beautiful lodging. Enjoy!

Comfortable and stylish Provençal home base

We spent a wonderful, comfortable 6 nights in Avignon. We were 6 - two couples, a toddler and one fantastic grandmother. Everyone had plenty of space, everyone had their own bathroom, and the courtyard was a fantastic extra space for relaxing while our toddler napped. We had to DIY baby proof the upstairs a little bit, but managed. We were happy to find a playpen and high chair, two things we hadn’t counted on. We loved cooking at home, and the welcome bottle of rosĂ© from our hosts’ brothers winery was a great touch. We absolutely loved our stay and would happily make this our Provençal home base again in the future. A very dreamy vacation property that definitely makes you feel like you’re on holiday in the south of France - even if your toddler needs to be in bed by 8:30.

Very Close to Perfect

The apartment is in the heart of the old walled city, but has a real sense of privacy and quiet. Between the main section and the smaller bedroom, bath and mini kitchen, there is a spacious fully enclosed garden. The location has many fine restaurants, shops and bakeries within easy walking distance. The house is fully equipped and is much more like staying in a friend’s home than a typical rental. It has comfort, charm and convenience. We will certainly stay here again whenever we are in Avignon with friends. The air conditioning was also up to cooling the apartment even in 100 + summer heat - a great relief.

Our hosts Robin and Elisabeth were awesome from first contact thru our stay. The property is located in a pedestrian zone with shops and restaurants and is convenient to all of Avignon. Highly recommended.

Location and luxury

The property is on two floors - a duplex apartment - but felt like a house. It has been renovated and improved to a high standard. It provided even more than we needed - plenty of cutlery, glasses, plates, corkscrew and wonderful kitchen if you are cooking your own food. The downstairs utility/shower room eoyj a washing machine and dryer was highly useful too. There is also an outhouse with a further kitchen (and bedroom and bathroom) which we didn't use but would have been ideal for summer evenings spent in the spectacular walled garden. The garden doesn't get much direct sunlight in the autumn, though the temprature was warm enough to allow us to sit outside. However, in summer it would be the perfect haven from the often intense heat. But apart from listing the property's attributes there was also something less tangible to recommend it: It had a really nice feel, and wasn't all like a sanitised corporate letting. It had been a family home and it felt like it. The location, though. Is as much an attraction as the property itself. It is on one of the old city's pedestrianised streets but once inside you hear none of the hubbub. It is very peaceful. But outside, the street is packed with restaurants, cafes and shops. We would highly recommend Fou De Fafa. The Palais des Papes is about a five minute walk past an array of boutique stores, more restaurants and a cinema. The main shopping street is even closer which has a useful Carrefour City and a Monoprix dept store while in the opposite direction, just as close, is the main market (Les Hallles) and the central (not TGV) station is also a short walk away. Robin checked us in personally and dispensed usual advice (and maps) and he and Elisabeth were very responsive so we were sorry we could not stay longer.

A quiet retreat in the heart of Avignon

Five of us stayed for 14 nights in this perfectly located property - with restaurants and shops just a short walk away. With 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, it was the perfect set up for us - and the central courtyard an absolute boon. If you want to be right in the heart of old Avignon but favour peace and quiet, we can thoroughly recommend this place!

Great place in the center of Avignon!

This apartment is wonderful, centrally located in Avignon, with great amenities. I think the post is a little misleading -- there are only two bedrooms (but three beds) and two bathrooms, but it still worked very well for our group of three women travelers. There's a delicious restaurant two doors down, Fou de Fafa (you need a reservation), and it is a short walk to everywhere within the city walls. And it's a great bonus that parking is included! Robin was so helpful to us even though she was not in town the weekend we stayed. Highly, highly recommend this listing.

Perfect Stay

Our family adored this jewel of a house in the center of old walled Avignon. Located on charming pedestrian streets, close to epicerie, boulangerie, and museums, sidewalk cafes and dozens of shops. After a busy day exploring the marvelous city, we retreated each day to the leafy courtyard, often dining al fresco on a meal garnered from Les Halles, the farmer's market close by. We spent the entire month of June in Robin and Elisabeth Young's beautiful house and lacked for nothing. Brand new kitchen, washer and dryer, heated towel racks, room for 7, if we were so inclined, lounge chairs without and comfort within. We had a medical emergency, and Robin and Elisabeth were angels in their guidance and assistance. We always stay at a VRBO rather than a hotel, and this is the best one of all!

Best place to stay in Avignon

This home exceeded my expectations. It is a lovely renovated, tastefully decorated historic home that is well equipped with anything one needs on a trip. Everything is of a very high quality. The stone walls and beamed ceilings add to the charm. It was wonderful to leave the windows & doors open in the evening to enjoy the scents of jasmine and roses. Location! Location! Location! This home is ideally situated on a quiet pedestrian street that is within walking distant to all the sites in Avignon. There is also a parking garage for your vehicle (free) in close proximity to the home. I rented it as a single person, but it easily accommodates 8-9 people comfortably offering a great deal of privacy for everyone since it is designed with a lot of private spaces. It is two stories and the rooms are large. The courtyard is a delightful place to relax after a full day of sight seeing. Several excellent restaurants are located on the same street. It is located between two great squares where one can relax and enjoy the french lifestyle. I really appreciated the butcher shop & the grocery store with wonderful produce just steps away & often purchased items to enjoy "at home" in the courtyard. I lived in France for many years and this property brought back very fond memories of my earlier years spent there
a truly authentic environment. I will definitely return to Avignon and rent this wonderful home in the future. It is the perfect place to stay while exploring Provence. Robin is the best hostess & quickly responds to any questions. She has vested a lot of TLC into this property. I highly recommend it for your visit.

Great location and wonderful host

Avignon was nice to visit in and of itself and also made the perfect hub for exploring Provence and surrounding areas. This rental is in a great location within the city walls...right in the middle of everything - sights, restaurants, shops, and market. The common living areas both on the ground level and upstairs were spacious and we loved morning coffee in the outdoor courtyard. There was also plenty of private space available for 5 adults after long days of traveling together. Having a parking pass for the city lot was a great bonus (easy walk from the rental). Our hosts were responsive and a pleasure to rent from. We desired to extend our stay an additional night and they were agreeable. Highly recommend this listing.

perfect location

I rented this apartment for four weeks in April. It exceeded all my expectations. It was roomy and we all loved the courtyard. Best of all was the proximity of several excellent restaurants. Everything was a short walk away: the train station, the bus station, the tourist office, shopping and many restaurants. Avignon was the perfect choice to act as home base for exploring all of Provence.
