Studio Suite - Une Chambre Appartement, Couchages 2
Historic Meets Modern at the Brick Street Apartment Studio Suite. It's classy, trendy, and so unique! We are located in the historic "Brick Street District" of downtown Augusta, KS. Our distinctively remodeled apartments are perfect if you're just traveling through or want a weekend getaway. The atmosphere is truly a one of a kind experience!
We kept much of the original exposed brick walls and retained much of the "mid-century" woodwork original to the building. From there, a full remodel with amazingly unique touches set our space apart from other nightly stay options. The Studio Suite features a king bed, a sitting area, a full bathroom with a distinctive curved shower door, plenty of towels and even a kitchenette with utensils, mini-fridge, sink, microwave, and even a Keurig coffee maker with complimentary K-cups, etc. If youâve ever wanted to live in a downtown apartment, this will be the perfect opportunity to spoil yourself!
*Note for light sleepers: There is an active train track just blocks away so we keep ear plugs in the First Aid Box under the kitchen sink and have more upon request. Sound sensitive guests often will use Spotify to drown out the sound.
The apartment is located on the second floor of an office area secured by a heavy ornate metal and glass door. Once inside there are stairs going up to the suite that are wide, carpeted and well-lit.
There is free street parking but it is a business district so if you come early you may need to park a block or so away.
This property is located in an old "row building" in a historic downtown area complete with brick streets and tons of character. There is an amazing playground within walking distance as well as several shops, restaurants, and a yoga studio nearby. Santa Fe Lake is also a favorite attraction not far away with amazing walking trails, etc. If thatâs not enough, we are just 20 minutes from Wichita where you'll find all sorts of shopping, dining, and a huge variety of activities including am amazing zoo!
Light sleepers are sometimes bothered by the sound of trains on the near by tracks. We have a high velocity fan you can request to drown out noise, ear plugs in the first aid kit or some guest use Spotify to play music or nature sounds while sleeping.
Please read and honor the House Rules
During your stay:
-Absolutely no illegal activities are allowed
-No unregistered guests
-No unapproved parties or events
-No smoking of any kind inside
-No eating in the bedrooms
-Volume down after 10PM to be respectful of other guests and neighbors
* Weekly inspections are required for long-term stays. However, no worries bc we usually bring goodies too!
Before Leaving:
-Please leave used beds messy, we will take care of it đ
-Please do the dishes and throw away trash
-Please gather used towels in baskets
-Please put everything back where you found it
Missing Items will incur a fee
-Please reset the heating to 58Âș /air-conditioning to 78Âș
-When leaving: lights out, doors/windows closed and locked, please
-Please let the Host know when you have checked-out
** Thank you for helping us take care of the place so that other guests can enjoy it too!
*** If House Rules are broken, then additional fees will be applied.
During business hours parking is limited, you may have to walk a block or so. Donât forget to request a handcart in advanceshould you need to carry a lot upstairs! Uber is limited in this area, so plan accordingly. Renting a car is the best option if you're coming to stay for a while.
We do accept requests in advance for transportation to the airport... fees may apply.
