The main house offers an open plan layout, with the large kitchen flowing into the lounge and dining area. Wall to wall bi-fold doors open onto the large deck creating a connection with the outdoors giving the place a breezy feel. The wonderful views of the ocean can be enjoyed from all areas of the first floor.
The lounge is comfortably appointed, with luxury furniture and tasteful decorative touches. There is high-speed internet and a Sonos sound system allowing you to stream your own music.
The superb kitchen is complete with a large double oven and hob, American style fridge freezer, Rocket Espresso machine, microwave and all the pots, pans and knives you might need to cook up a storm.
There is a heat-pump/air-conditioner keeping the place warm in winter and cool in summer. For the coolest months there is a real log-burning fireplace making the place cozy and warm.
On the first floor you will also find the master suite with king sized bed and luxury bathroom. The bath is a particular highlight with incredible views over the water. Doors open out from the bedroom to the deck giving a wonderful feeling of space and indoor/outdoor flow.
Downstairs in the main house are two other large suites, each with queen size beds and ensuite bathrooms. Both downstairs bedrooms have doors opening onto the ground floor patio area with easy access down to the beach.
Along with the three bedrooms in the main house there is a self-contained cabana, with its own queen sized bed, bathroom and a small kitchenette with tea and coffee making facilities and a small fridge. Perfect for temporary guests or those in the group wanting a bit more privacy.
There is a separate laundry area at the side of the property with a washer and dryer and a covered patio on the ground floor with a retractable clothes line and plenty of space to dry clothes and towels.
The outdoor space is really where the property comes alive. With the huge deck overlooking the ocean and a private path down to the water. There is a fantastic, rustic boat shed with a ramp that projects right into the sea at high tide. The shed is full of toys like paddle boards, kayaks and inflatables giving you plenty of great fun options for enjoying the water. This is also a superb place to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the sun set. Set directly in front of the boat shed is a private mooring allowing you to bring your own boat right up to the property, moor it safely and access the house from the beach.
Koi Waiheke really does have it all, a wonderful place to enjoy the tranquility of Waiheke Island with plenty of outdoor activities to keep the kids happy and entertained.
