Grande maison sur la rive du lac Supérieur. Lodge a toutes les commodités inclus. Grand pont au 2Úme niveau avec mobilier de jardin pour se détendre et observer le lac. Il y a une trÚs grande surface de jardin et d'un parking. Le Lodge a tout ce qu'une maison normale aurait. Vaisselle, ustensiles de cuisine, vaisselle, etc ... Il y a 5 chambres, deux avec un roi, deux w / reines, et la 5Úme a deux lits superposés en taille réelle. Il y a trois salles de bains complÚtes, la salle de bains du 2e niveau comprend un combo douche / baignoire Jacuzzi et les salles de bain du 1er niveau possÚdent des cabines de douche. Inclus dans votre séjour est un barbecue à gaz avec propane, toute la literie, les serviettes et les draps ainsi qu'un 55 "Smart TV, WiFi et service de streaming Internet.

Sur la photo Rocks National Lakeshore commence Ă  Munising, qui est Ă  seulement 15 minutes en voiture et il y a plus d'une douzaine de chutes d'eau dans un rayon de 30 mile de cette maison. Le National Lakeshore offre des journĂ©es d'activitĂ©s de plein air et d'aventures. À proximitĂ© du lac AuTrain et de la riviĂšre AuTrain, vous pourrez profiter de la baignade, des sports nautiques, de la pĂȘche ou d'une pagaie relaxante. La riviĂšre AuTrain offre une excellente baignade lĂ  oĂč elle se jette dans le lac SupĂ©rieur, et le kayak en serpentant 7 milles Ă  travers la forĂȘt nationale de Hiawatha. Location de kayaks sont disponibles, sinon n'hĂ©sitez pas Ă  apporter les vĂŽtres, il y a beaucoup d'espace pour garer votre bateau, remorque ou tout ce que vous apportez. Si vous pratiquez la pĂȘche, l'achigan, le dorĂ© jaune ou le brochet sont les espĂšces que vous pĂȘchez le plus souvent au lac AuTrain, et la truite et le saumon dans le lac SupĂ©rieur. Les kayaks sont disponibles Ă  la location.

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin is perfect for a weekend getaway with friends. It’s in a great location - we were able to swim at a beach down the road, see Pictured Rocks, and get food in town. Thank you for hosting us!

This property sits on one of the most beautiful lots in Au Train. Finding it and checking in was very easy, and the property manager was very helpful. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience did not meet expectations. The place was not very clean. The hot tub needed attention, the shower curtain should be replaced, and the dining chairs were old and dirty. The bathrooms did not feel inviting, and the overall interior design felt unfinished. Some furniture choices, like placing one sofa behind another, did not make much sense. Even small details, like not having a sliding screen door to the rooftop, made a difference, as it would help keep flies out.It does look like the property may be going through renovations. I hope the owner sees the true value of this location and invests in updating and redesigning it.

Amazing location but falls short

The location and pictures of the lake are accurate, absolutely incredible, and will be completely worth it to some guests. Unfortunately, there were issues that soured the experience.The property does not provide shower products like shampoo or body wash. The host informed me the day of check-in after we had already hit the road, so we had to buy products instead of bringing from home. He was generally responsive and nice, but this would have been good to know in advance. Similarly, the property also does not include any tissue paper, which you really would expect.The water in the house smells strongly of iron and I'm assuming this is just because the house is on well water. There's a tap with a filter in the kitchen that makes the drinking water taste fine, but it's unpleasant to brush your teeth or shower. One of the bath towels was heavily stained red/orange, which does not make you feel clean.Finally, there were a ton of spiders and insects all over the place. The downstairs entrance had large webs on the front door and the initial entryway low enough to hit your face. The grill on the deck was against a corner with webs everywhere, which doesn't feel good about the food. I know it's the woods / lake so there will be insects, but I don't expect to see large established webs in interior spaces - what's the cleaning fee even for if you aren't sweeping all that away before each stay?These are fixable issues and I hope they are because the house could be amazing.

Wonderful Cottage!

The location of this cottage is excellent! It is near several hiking trails, public beaches, a great grocery store and restaurants. We LOVED the deck and the swing by the water. The interior was well-appointed and comfortable with lots of seating and sleeping options. We appreciated having WiFi access. The host supplied detailed, easy to follow information for check-in and check-out. We hope to come back to this wonderful cottage.

Snowmobile Getaway

Great place on a Great Lake. Absolutely beautiful lake view. Was not bad getting to the trails from the cabin. Actually, a nice warm up run before the trails! We were a little hesitant on the parking situation with having big trailers. After we put on our big boy pants it was no problem at all. Might a been a little tricky if there would have been larger snowbanks. In the end, the place was great. Full filled our needs.

On the lake

We loved our stay at the blue lodge. Amazing view of Lake Superior. Could sit on that deck all day and watch the Lake. Nice grassy area for kids to play, and the sandy beaches in Au Train are amazing. House is very comfortable,kitchen well equipped, comfortable beds. The stairs were a little scary with a toddler who doesn’t know he’s a toddler, and the water in showers had a strange odor. And the pics showed the stairs so just need to be careful. Thankyou! Hope to come again

Quiet and peaceful

The view of Lake Superior was amazing but the deck was in serious need of power washing. The ceiling fan had large chunks of dust hanging off of them. The kitchen sink while clean had stains so it didn’t appear clean. Updates need to be done

Peaceful

We had a very nice and relaxing time staying at this Vrbo. Love that there were five bedrooms and three bathrooms so each couple had their own. Nice kitchen and living room and laundry room also. The view from the large deck was amazing!!! We would definitely recommend staying there!

Plan on renting again!

Every member of our group was in awe of the location & the view! Even with a house relatively close there was the feeling of complete seclusion. No white noise needed on first two nights as the sound of waves against the shore was all we needed. Slept with windows open all 5 nights! Launched our own kayaks from shore & paddled to nearby (2+ mi) Au Train Island. Launching from rocks was a bit tricky and could only be done when the water was calm. Will definitely plan on going back. Only 4 stars because things just werent as nice & supplied as we are used to at other short-term rentals. Gary

UP forever

The couches were really bad and probably could use a coffee table of some sort. Could have used some kitchen scissors otherwise kitchen was pretty well equipped. Overall the place was nice. Loved having all those hooks.

Overall good. Great location. House was older with self renovations that allowed a big family to all be there. Down graded for overall cleanliness and furniture/bedding was old and uninviting. didn’t provide a lot of supplies ( had to buy paper towel, garbage bags) . I think upgrading furniture and linens would go a long way.

Waterfront Views and Dream Location

Our family/extended family consisting of 7 adults and 5 kids comfortably stayed at this perfect lake house for several nights. We were able to do numerous day trips for hiking, beach time, beer tasting, and much more. The house was as expected and we had everything we needed. Definitely recommend!

HUSBANDS 60TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

THE HOUSE LOCATION RIGHT ON THE LAKE WAS FABULOUS..WE ENJOYED ALL OF THE WATERFALLS AND LIGHT HOUSES IN THE AREA. IT WAS EASY TO FIND AND ENJOYED OUR STAY. WE DID HAVE A FEW ISSUES THOUGH. WE DIDN'T ARRIVE UNTIL AFTER MIDNIGHT AND WHEN WE GOT THERE, THE WATER WAS NOT WORKING. I DID NOT WANT TO CALL THE PROPERTY MANAGER SO LATE SO MY HUSBAND WHO IS VERY MECHANICALLY INCLINED THOUGHT TO CHECK THE FUSE BOX AND THE BREAKER FOR THE WATER WAS OFF SO THAT FIXED THAT. WE WERE TOLD TO PUT OUR GARBAGE IN THE DUMPSTER WHICH WE COULD FIND BETWEEN THE HOUSE AND THE GARAGE. THERE WAS NOT ONE TO BE FOUND.. IT SHOWED UP 2 DAYS LATER AT THE END OF THE DRIVEWAY. WE WERE GOING TO GRILL CHICKEN ON THE GRILL AND THE GAS WAS EMPTY SO I CALLED TO FIND OUT IF THERE WAS ANOTHER TANK SOMEWHERE...I GET A RECORDED MESSAGE SAYING THEY WERE BUSY AND TO LEAVE A MESSAGE OR TO TEXT THAT NUMBER SO I AM STILL WAITING FOR A RESPONS TO MY TEXT MESSAGE THAT WAS 4 DAYS AGO. WILL WE GO BACK TO MUNISING FOR VACATION, ABSOLUTELY. WILL WE STAY AT THIS PROPERTY AGAIN PROBABLY NOT
