Dock Holiday! with Boat Dock & Pet Friendly

Dock Holiday is a 2,073 sq ft, fully remodeled ranch style home that is located in a unique friendly neighborhood and sits right on the canal.

This home is a clean and beautifully furnished Pine Knolls Shores Vacation Rental that has an open floor plan for plenty of entertainment. WiFi, cable and outdoor shower. A street legal golf cart is available with this vacation rental for a small fee. Bring your furry family to enjoy this time with you.

This quaint ranch home is secluded and very private home and is shaded by maritime forest and is part of the Pine Knolls Shores Association. Dock Holiday has one king size bed, one queen size bed and two double beds, as well as plenty of open space for extra air mattresses if needed.

The open concept allows for cooking and visiting with family and friends at the same time. There is plenty of room on the deck and lower patio to enjoy the outdoor setting by cooking on the grill or just enjoying the fresh air. Begin or end your day by relaxing and reading a book in the amazing sunroom, while watching boats drift by on the canal. Then go jump in your boat at your very own boat dock and take a cruise out into the beautiful sound and watch an amazing sunset. This home is a boaters dream.

The large garage has plenty of room to store your bikes, kayaks or other outdoor equipment you may bring for an enjoyable vacation. No bikes or kayaks? Rental of both is available at many places on the island. With your own dock, it is very easy to put the kayaks in and out.

The beach is only a short distance by car or golf cart with plenty of parking available. Several boat ramp's are available for your use also. Two Pine Knolls Shores Access Cards grant access to neighborhood boat ramps, parks and oceanfront parking.

Dock Holiday fun

We had a great stay at this property. Finding nice accommodations that are dog friendly can be a struggle, however this property provided all that we needed. Having the golf cart to use for beach trips was also a favorite of our child. Would definitely recommend this house and we are likely to return some day.

Perfect location for us for a family wedding. Beautiful home in a beautiful neighborhood. We had 5 adults and were very comfortable, Small housekeeping issues could be improved. Single ply toilet paper and dusty fixture above dining table. Communication w/property manager was easy via text

Calming getaway

This beautiful Pine Knoll Shores home checks all your vacation boxes. Peaceful neighborhood that seems like a whole world all on its own. This home offers some extra cool amenities as well. The golf cart add on its most definitely a must. And the rental company is top notch when it comes to making check- in so seamless. We definitely want to experience this place again!!! Wonderful Location and a beautiful home!

I have zero complaints about this property. It was clean and well stocked with linens and kitchenware. One small hiccup with the wrong code to check in but the property manager answered our call and walked us through the steps to gain access. It was a lovely vacation and a wonderful neighborhood. I will certainly be booking again.

Great place for the boat!

Great place to stay, especially if you want to bring your boat. There is a small floating dock and there are a few ft of water even at low tide. Short golf cart or car ride to the beach.

Great home base

The home has custom charm but has been very well updated (extensively). Open layout was perfect, inside very nicely appointed, and outdoor views live up. Neighborhood is very quiet and communal residential feel. Can’t think of a single thing we needed - maybe a set of beach chairs would’ve been nice in the garage, but only because forgot ours at home. Easy drive to all of the splendor of the island. Manager plenty communicative but not overbearing. Just right - everything went smoothly. No hesitation in saying we would stay here again.

Feels like home

Doc Holiday is so special to our family. To be able to bring our boat, our fur babies, and be right on the coast we grew up on is truly a gem! Wonderful Dock Holiday Stay

The property was clean and spacious. The decor was beachy and very tastefully done which made the house a pleasant place to hang out in. View was nice and the neighborhood was absolutely beautiful. We loved community access to beach as well the sound side views. We enjoyed the golf cart as well. Would stay again and recommend!!!

Family vacation

This was a wonderful neighborhood and hoMe for our family to enjoy vacation together. The kids caught shrimp and fish off the dock and we enjoyed the short golf cart ride to the beach each day.

Dock Holiday Has It All!

We had a wonderful vacation at this property! It met all of our needs for the perfect stay on the NC coast: our dogs were welcome; canal front property with dock for kayak and paddle board activities; great beach access via private parking lot with ramp to beach and showers for gear and dogs; and finally a nicely renovated, clean, single story house with sunroom, open floor plan, and deck, that is situated in a lovely, quiet, neighborhood with shade trees. Also, very convenient to restaurants and shopping.

Relaxing, cute and convenient

My mom, my husband, and our three kids (ages 8, 6 and 3) enjoyed a wonderful and relaxing week at Dock Holiday. The owner was very responsive, the house was in a cute and quite neighborhood, and we loved drinking our coffee while watching fish jump in the canal every morning. We really appreciated having access to the beach across the main road, and also took the opportunity to travel to nearby destinations like Beaufort, Harkers Island, and Cape Lookout. Highly recommend renting UTVs and riding around the cape! All in all, this was a wonderful place for us to unplug and recharge.

Excellent for a family visit!!

My parents live in PIne Knoll Shores and we wanted to surprise my Dad for a milestone birthday! Dock Holiday was perfect! We hosted all of the meals , the kitchen is very well equipped. The great room and sun room is super comfortable with so much space to enjoy . We loved this property, the owners have done a wonderful job thinking of everything to enhance the stay. Definitely will stay here again! True to pictures and even better in person!!

Great Experience!

Spent a wonderful Christmas time with family that live in PKS. Hosted a family Christmas Eve dinner in the well-equipped kitchen and everyone enjoyed the open layout of the home with great views of the canal. Great place to stay. Thanks.

40th Birthday Trip

What better way to spend my 40th birthday than at this beautiful home in Pine Knoll Shores with my little family of 4 & my parents! The neighborhood was so quiet & relaxing. My 10 year old son & myself enjoyed riding around the neighborhood on the golf cart & the neighbors were all SO friendly. My mom absolutely loved reading in the sunroom & my husband enjoyed the dock to fish from. He didn't catch much but he still enjoyed the time doing one of his favorite activities. We loved how we were only a 4-5 minute golf cart ride to the beach & the weather was so nice on Saturday, 11/13, that myself, mom, & 2 sons enjoyed time together sitting on the beach. Even though this was only a short trip (long weekend) it was one of my most memorable trips I've taken with my little family. We will most definitely come back & stay at this little quiet quaint home again, hopefully longer than a few days.

Beautiful home with fully equipped kitchen!

We were so thankful to find this home, which was in the same neighborhood and only about an 1/8 of a mile from our family in NC! The home was clean, spacious, open and best of all it had a fully equipped kitchen which came in handy for making a few Thanksgiving dishes to bring to their house! My husband enjoyed fishing outback and even caught a flounder! The master bathroom was perfect too! Thanks for sharing your home!

Very enjoyable stay with great accommodations

We had a really nice time here! The neighborhood is lively, and the people are friendly everywhere we went. The house is beautiful and we enjoyed having our boat right at the dock so we could go out through the canals to the channel and through the sound to the intracoastal waterway. We loved having our dog with us to share the time on the boat and take for walks along the beach, which is so close to the house. Highly recommended!
