Welcome to our new 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom vacation rental located just minutes from downtown Athens! Our place is the perfect location for your next visit to UGA games, graduations, weddings, and events.
Outside, you will find a lovely patio area with seating, perfect for enjoying the Georgia sunshine and hosting outdoor gatherings. Our rental is located in a safe and family-friendly neighborhood, with easy access to downtown Athens and all the area has to offer.

Great stay in Athens on a football weekend. House was perfect for the 6 of us, plenty of space, clean and well laid out. Just a few short minutes to downtown and campus, would definitely stay here again!!

This was the perfect home-base for a UGA football weekend. The house easily accommodated four adults and two teenagers. It was very easy getting to and from campus. It will definitely be the place we seek out the next time we need a place to stay in Athens.

Great apart from the lack of kitchen supplies

We stayed for 1 week in May and were surprised by the lack of basic cleaning products made available to us. We contacted the host to request some dish washer soap (as only 1 tablet was provided) some cleaner for the kitchen counters (as there was none) and some additional bathroom tissue (as there was not enough for 4 people staying for a whole week. They were delivered to the front door the same day, but the fact that they were not there in the first place annoyed us. The kitchen pantry was totally empty but there were salt and pepper shakers and a small amount of sugar in one of the cupboards. We expect to provide our own food, but when on vacation we do not expect to have to provide household supplies that are typically provided by the host. The house and grounds are quiet, off the main roads but close enough to everything around Athens. The kitchen stovetop is gas; the rest is electric. Beds are comfortable and ceiling fans helped us all find the right temperature in our rooms. Bathrooms served their purpose; the master shower is walk-in with no steps (which is nice for those that can't handle getting into a bath tub to shower). Other than Corn-Hole outside, there were no indoor games or puzzles provided. If you can't perform a 3-point turn or reverse down an inclined driveway with a curve in it, this may not be the perfect place for you ... Other than that and the items mentioned above, if we had to go to Athens again we would consider this VRBO if it was available.

Gorgeous home!

Beautiful new home!! Very comfortable with 3 king size beds, very comfy mattresses, adorable neighborhood and close to campus!! All high end finishes! Very responsive host! So far our favorite place we’ve stayed in 4 yrs of visiting oir college student!

Family Homecoming Weekend

House was new and very clean. Close to everything you would need. Would have liked to have glasses in the house for the wine, instead of all plastic. Host was very responsive and would recommend this house to anyone interested in a clean, spacious up-to-date home.

Beautiful Athens Home

We enjoyed our stay at the Athens Escape! The house looked brand new. The bedrooms were spacious and master bathroom was HUGE! The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe. We found everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare meals. I would book again if we are in the Athens area.

Lovely home!!!

This is a lovely and beautifully maintained and home in a quiet, picturesque neighborhood that offers convenient access to UGA, downtown, and shopping. The property features charming outdoor sitting area at both the front and the rear of the home. I would highly recommend this home and would definitely stay here again!! Thank you very much!!
