Huge Yard near UGA - Glory Glory Guest Suite
Summary:
This renovated walkout basement suite is located in what used to be a mother-in law suite in our larger house here in Athens. Then, one day in the middle of a Pandemic, the entire basement FLOODED causing the complete renovation of this now trendy spot. All new floors, walls, fixtures, paint and furniture brought to you by Murphy's Law. Please enjoy this wonderful space as much as I enjoyed redecorating!
The Space:
This space is located beneath another unit, and there are steps that lead down to the entrance. It is blocked off so as to create two separate units. This is a walk-out style basement apartment. The driveway and yard may be shared with other guests, and the upstairs unit is rented out separately (you may also rent the whole house, inquire about this other listing if you're interested!). This is a one bed, one bath unit and the upstairs is a 3 bed 2 bath unit. The drive way and fenced in back yard are shared. The entrance is in the left rear side of the house with a well lit path leading down steps and up to the door. You will enter into the Living/kitchen/dining area. To the right you will have a full bathroom tub combo, and to the left you will find a LARGE bedroom and a closet big enough to fit Harry Potter.
Guest Access:
The house has a digital combo lock pad. We will provide you with the code upon check-in.
The Neighborhood:
Located in a nice, residential neighborhood.

We recommend driving, as this is a residential area

Deer have been known to make themselves at home in our backyard. Please keep the gate shut. Thank you!
We require a signed rental agreement and for guest to be 21 years of age to book.
If you notify us of your intent to cancel prior to the lapse of the free cancellation period, we will return 97% of your payment. The other 3% will already have been collected by the credit card processing company, and we have no way to return that portion of the payment.
There are stairs that lead down to the entrance of the space. It is a walk-out style basement. The yard is shared with the upstairs unit, which may be occupied by other guests. The driveway is also shared with the upstairs guests.
We kindly ask guests to treat all towels and linens with care. If any items are stained or damaged beyond repair, a replacement fee will be charged to cover the cost of new linens. This helps us maintain a high standard of cleanliness and comfort for all future guests. Thank you for your understanding!
We are a pet friendly home. Pets must be crated when they are left unattended in the home. We do not allow pets on furniture or beds, and all waste must be cleaned up from the yard. All pets require a non-refundable pet fee. If there is evidence of pet hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged the cost to clean this. In the event that a security deposit is collected, we will retain all or part of the security deposit to cover any costs associated with additional cleaning due to pets.
Interaction with Guests:
We try to give our guests privacy and respect their space. Just know that we are only a phone call away if ever the need should arise!
